Yes! You just can't use it to register GTA4 on Steam, but online play via GFWL works just fine.

If memory serves, DiRT 2 is one of the few that doesn't accept universal GFWL keys. Just like Section 8.

The accounts are only really necessary if you wanna play online, with loads actually using dummy ones for these "dodgy" activations, and to be honest I think the worst they'd do if they could ever be arsed is revoke the keys just like Steam do occasionally with keys from online key sellers. An outright ban of an account would be an overreaction, the like of which is rarely seen. A blanket ban policy wouldn't do them any favours cos the milk is spilt. The most they would do is close the exploit.

Still if ya like to fantasise about such things - don't let me stop ya Very Happy

I already wrote it in the other thread, but thought it might be useful here as well:

If you pre-order Monkey Island 2 Special Edition on Steam now, you get MI1 Special Edition for free!

I usually buy my games from UK websites, and those are almost the same, even cheaper in some cases. Good prices if you compare them with retail or steam.

Steam is all screwed up. I loaded up the site and it's telling me metro 2033 is 50% off for 9.99. I click the link and it launches steam.
I search for metro 2033 and try to find it and it tells me the price is $49.99

In the steam client I click on the link for Metro 2033 for $9.99 and it pops up saying "You are about to install Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter

I'd like Metro 2033 for $9.99 please steam..

and as soon as I go to try and report this on the steam forums, the forums start timing out.

10.85 pounds only. It's a bargain. I've bought like 10 games from that site, it's really cheap.
