So I went out and bought them but now I have this problem described here:
http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=188609824926&topic=12353&post=54478
Quote: | I recently contacted the Roccat Support because I were having trouble with an annoying beep when the headset was supposed to be quiet. Here's the reply:
"This phenomenon can happen with surround headsets which are not only connected to the PC by USB, but also via analog input (jack plug). This sound is in fact caused by electromagnetic pulse. Such a thing is happening when electricity is running thru metal. If the components (i.e. your soundcard) are build close together, then it can happen that these audio signals are being transmitted.
Some sound cards have an option which is counteracting this known problem. This option is called "PC Beep". Please have a look into your audio settings which you can find in the system management. Or into the driver of the sound card."
And yes, it solved the problem! All you need to do is to mute the "PC Beep" level. If you're having problem with this, check these images out:

If you turn to Google all it gives you is way to turn of the error beep.
Anyone with similar problem know how to fix it?
And i get the noise by only connecting the usb. So it's not my sound card (x-fi)

Well if you only get the noise by using USB, it's possible it's some interference. As far as I know, using USB for audio is not recommended.
In any case, if you are asking where these settings are located... you can access them by right clicking on the volume control in the tray bar, select Playback Devices, right click on Speakers and select Properties. These settings are under the Levels tab.
I don't have this PC Beep setting though, so you might not as well. In this case you could try muting similar settings, like CD audio, Line In etc, to see if it has any effect.
Trying the same under Recording (devices) could be useful as well.

I dont have 'PC Beep' as an option either. I say return it and get something else.

Asking because ports on the front of a case often do generate static when power is drawn from there, a lot of cases have crappy grounding
