Yes, I was reading the whole drama on the thread and LOLed because Sacred 2 looks absolutely gorgeous on PC, while on console it is, let's say, lol.

A funny thing is that the "Elite" texture extra DVD is considered freeware and can be shared or similar without problems, why it was only bundled with CE versions is a bit odd though probably cost related and Ascaron did have plans initially to host it themselves but they gave up on that. (It is a full DVD9 after all.)
As for RAID and similar Sacred 2 has a locked cache at 500 or so MB though it can be decreased, once this is exceeded (And that happens quickly with these nearly uncompressed and larger resolution textures.) the game will become extremely unstable, decreasing the cache will counter this but instead it'll stutter a lot so a fast HDD would indeed help though RAID isn't a requirement what with SSD technology and similar.
The game engine is a bit of a mess though, loading .zip file archives and then using multiples of them for the same content such as the low, medium and high ("elite") resolution textures are in separate archives is a bit strange when it would be easier (And save a bit of space.) to use a single set of the highest resolution texture and then scale them via their mip-maps or something like that.
(Same for the audio content.)
All patched textures and the I&B expansion are also only "normal' resolution so the elite pack might override a few things since when enabled those will be used where possible.
(Unpacking it all and making a single "set" of it would work but the game would take ages to start as it processes all the unpacked files instead of the archives as I've tested once.)
(512x512 to 1024x1024 will be clearer but only at close distance so it doesn't benefit much when used in Sacred 2 anyhow aside from using camera hacks like playing it in third person over the shoulder view or such.)
Oh and a final general tip there's unlock codes that adds a extra 37 items (Level scaled and you can only use them once so theoretically they should be used at level 200 for best effect but would probably be weak compared to what one normally finds in so many playtroughs to get there.) though I no longer have the actual codes

(Most models are used for other items as well and some were made uniques in I&B, others like the fabled desert eagle were forgotten about and don't have a spawn chance and the light swords are extremely rare as of a few patches ago plus aside from looks they're usually rather weak.)

(Though my shadow warrior was never really normal.)

Both this unicorn and the flaming "nightmare" variant are the new elite mounts in Ice & Blood after a few quests in this zombie village one of the zombies will turn into a horse vendor and you can then purchase these elite steeds, they're not comparable to class specific ones but far better than normal horse variants and much higher level.

And about the armor.
It's this armor from the pre-release version of the game re-added as a set of unique parts in the expansion, unfortunately the cuirass was never made droppable and can't be obtained via normal means, helmet is very rare as well.
