I have had good experiences with OffGamers in the past, after the 1st purchase I placed there through PayPal they called me internationally for confirmation and the deal was done.
It is an Indonesian company I belief.
What, you don't like glorious video game of PC master race?
I suppose it has it's merits if you're a south korean cyber athlete.
But for a studio to claim millions of dollars invested in a game that took years and years to make, only to come out with a game thats basically the same as it's predecessor, only with an updated engine.
What, the guy who wrote the original engine in the span of 3 months got fired and they were stuf with the intern?
Add to the fact that they demand a premium for it, and will charge even more in the future with addons, dlc's, special downloadable crap and thats not even mentioning the raping the modding community has received; you can now only have 5 maps shared, when you reach the limit you have to delete some to upload more on battle.net.
Which leads to the removal of a lan function, and the multiplayer being strictly tied to battle.net, again to maximise profits for Blizzard/Activision, as if the 13 million they're gonna sell to South Korea wasn't enough on it's own for this dumped down, apm ridden, rehash of a 12 year old game.
So no, I don't like Starcrapt II and I find it hilarious that people are willing to pay good money for it.
1. It's not region locked.
2. CCP constantly add HUGE content and expansion packs, for free.
3. The sheer staggering amount of content in EVE makes most other games - including MMOs - look like RPGMaker games.
4. The engine and visuals are upgraded all the time.
But all this comment on this game is coming from a guy who's loving Eve
Hey some people like to pay for a second job. They're fucking insane, but hey, whatever floats your boat.
There's nothing wrong with a rehash of starcraft 1. It's been twelve fucking years. If you don't like it, make a better game yourself. The cynicism of this forum is vomit inducing, all you people do is whinge and pirate.

Yes why can't we just accept the shit that we're served, the world would be so much better place if we all just cherished whatever crap that came out of the big companies and that the paid reviews tells us is the best thing since sliced bread.
To hell with innovation right?, we can just buy the same product over and over with slightly better graphics and more accessible gameplay, and every time it'll still be the best thing since sliced bread!.
When Starcraft was finally released in 1998 it was seen as the be all end all of the C&C clones, a term that was coined due to the gameplay of C&C that came out in 1995 which was basically a Dune II clone.
Due to the success of this game the 5 years until the millenium saw rapid development and outright copying of game design to create the next level of the C&C rts gameplay.
Starcraft was such a good game and became such a huge success because it refined this gameplay and took it to the proverbial next level.
12 years later nothing has changed, eventhough the company behind it has the resources and the capacity to take the gameplay to the next level again like in 1998, but they choose to play it safe and release the same game again.
And this is whats aggrevating, we could've potentially seen a slew of 'starcraft clones' and eventually got even better gameplay based on that formula, but they only thing they added was an apm counter for the South Korean cyber athlete league.
Look mother The Emperor has no clothes on!
Yeah but i dont understand.... Why need to take the gameplay to another level ??? To be honest... with the most recent games where they took the games to "newer levels" the gameplay is totally fucked. (look for instance at the newest c&c)
I hate most current games and i'm allmost only satisfied playing old games ... i just need them with updated graphics
You need a lot of moolah these days to make a game (the non-indie/-budget ones), so you also need a lot of sales to cover the expenses - not forgetting the ever-important profit of course.
And the only way to sell a lot is to cater to the lowest common denominator - or that's what the execs and marketing people believe.
@Lathieza
So why have we moved past Pacman then? That's old, and it's "hardcore" enough, right? So .. ?
Since when has it become a taboo to ask for innovation? Pointing a finger at the new C&C as the only case against trying to innovate is silly and ridiculous, and you know what? I prefer the new C&C by miles over this one. AT least that one tried to achieve something. At least it tried. Not this piece of shit mediocrity which everyone is jacking off to. Anything is better than a mediocre crap, even something that is awful - at least it made you feel something.
And it's not like Blizzard can't afford to take chances. Oh, but god forbid, the Korean retards that watch a video game on TV with announcers might not like it, oh no!
This is why I hate that SC2 is going to become the poster child of PC gaming; "look, no innovation and semi-pretty graphics, and there you go, the masses are falling for it".
Edit: None of what I was expecting in terms of improvements are related to graphics. Just because I showed a GIF which demonstrates the lack of attention in Blizzard's work here, does not mean my asking stops there.
I'm going to have to go with Epsilon here (and not just to be a kiss-ass, EVE still sucks and plays itself with the skill timer ). They changed fuck all in 6 years of development.
Are the cut-scenes awesome? Absolutely.
Is the voice work and story well done? Yep.
Is the pre-mission stuff a nice change? Yes.
Should ANY of the above taken 6 years to create at a price-tag of $60 given that it added absolutely nothing new to the genre? HELL FUCKING NO!
6 years. Think that over for a minute. Try to think back to where you were in life 6 years ago. Now think back to your play-through of SC2. 6 years, for......that....? Just wow.
Anyone that tries to defend that kind of time-frame for what they delivered is simply trying to sugar-coat their buyers remorse, end of story

I am sorry, hmmm? The voice actors had the worst redneck accents I have ever heard...
Should have went to Texas or Iowa or some other redneck shithole and just pick people from the street - they would have made a better job than the ones credited here.

I actually live in the east part of Texas, kind of in the boonies, and the redneck accent is actually fairly close. I mean, there's a whole range of them here, but it's definitely not as far fetched as you think.
