The BWA file is missing. This is why we don't find any physical info in the image and also why we don't get asked if you want to burn the BWA Physical information.

i used an old verison of blindwrite and just clicked on write clicked on the image it burnt then i installed it and then i try and load the game up it comes up authentication fialed?????????????

There is a version out there which has all 3 files . Its just a matter of finding it and only downloading the BWA file and then sticking it in the same directory as your original downloaded image.
I can HONESTLY confirm that i have just done so , i then followed the instructions in the nfo and it works !

Hi Folks ... My First Post here ....
I HAVE THE .BWA FILE !!!. I got it in a download this afternoon. It is only 8kb is size but it's vital !!!. If you all send me an email (include your Nforce User Name) to :

There are 2 or 3 versions of "CM5" out there (all Torrents). One (205MB)has the .BWI & .BWT Files but the .BWA File is missing. That is the file that is needed to complete a succesful burn to CD in Blindwrite.
There is another version "03.15.05.Championship_Manager_5VNGCLONE" (from Vengeance) (.rar files + .nfo file) which is around 189.4MB in size. It HAS the .BWA file.
When you have all 3 x files (.BWA + .BWI + .BWT) it allows Blindwrite to work like "dryan's" screenshots (it confirms "physical data found") and works. If the .BWA is missing the game "installs" but when you try to play it, it says it can't find the CD and can't authenticate it. So that game doesn'y play.
This is how important the .BWA File is.
So get emailing me .....

After all of that it still doesnt work.
I dont understand as there's no error message. The game is installed fine, but I click the shortcut and it seems to start loading, then just stops.

this game is simply pathetic, don't waste your time.
Why did Eidos put such a protection on this game, as it won't even sell anyway.
Its like playing a FM 2005 rip off.

It is thoroughly dull innit ... finding the BWA File & the correct version of Blindwrite and then working out how to burn it is more exciting than playing it !!!!!!!!!!
