Obviously the moon is brighter. It's so bright that it'll light up at night while the sun only lights up areas during the day that are already lighted up.
Discuss this logic

that the moon puts out more brightness than the sun cause during the day.....the sun isn't needed all that much cause it's already bright, and the moon lights up the night

I think that we may only dream that the sun give more brightness than moon, because moon is our subconscious, and when sun impedes the dream, the moon is trying to imply that we are dreaming the dream, which is in fact in a dream where I'm typing this on the forum. O.o

but are you sure your not dreaming the dream but during the day light while being awake and your subconscious is trying to wake you up?
