I stole a cop car, and to my amazement when turning on the sirens all cars drive to the side to give you room to drive. Never seen this level of detail in a game.
This kind of DLC is the worst there is. 'Hey let's rip basic stuff out of the game and charge people for it later on!'
It's the same thing with the map probably. The map (when you press TAB) in the demo is the full map. But in the lower right corner you see that it's a small portion of more 'squares'. There are 9 squares there and only 1 is colored and that's the part that will be in the full game.
Mafia 2 dev's said the world would be 2 times bigger then the first game...but it looks nothing like it. It's a shame really.

On one hand, I want to try your patch to get a better feel for the game.
But on the other, I don't want you taking my mortal soul to hell if for some reason I am unable to purchase the game. So I suppose we are at an impasse.
The demo was enough for me - I reinstalled the first game to hold me over until this is released. I normally replay it about once a year and I was about due anyway. Will definitely be buying this one.
Oh wow! I just found a way to quit a fight! Just get away from the one you're fighting and the 'mini fighting game' stops! The one you attacked will most likely try to hunt you down, but actually this is pretty cool. This way Vito keeps his eye on the victim and ones he gets enough distance between him and the victim Vito can run away!
Still a shame though that women don't fight and that you can't hit someone when running. Would be cool if you were hunting some women down, or some guy (when the guy is being a pussy) and hit them in the back of the head when running ^^

Maybe so, but why not make them slap you women style when you bump into them 3 times? Most guys in the game start fighting after 3 bumps, so why can't the women slap you and call the police? Now they're just running. It's kinda realistic that they don't fight like guys, knowing that back in that time women were still pretty much bound to be a kitchen accessory, but the way they act now is just silly.

Nah, I think it makes sense, since it's a city with so much crime people are more eager to learn self defense About the stance, i don't know.. i doubt women are teached to fight differently than men or fight in a more "feminine" way hehe
I'm sure it'll be a decent game, but it's no GTA cant swim, can't jump, can't shoot from cars... nah, i prefer GTA even if the story is a little better in the Mafia games.
No swimming is fine, but no jumping and no shooting from cars is stupid. Today I was killing some cops and annoying black people with guns from within a clothing shop. Some idiot cop drove a car right into the doorway. Because of my gun blazing action the car exploded and I was stuck in that store because I couldn't jump! There was enough room for me to go through, the car isn't that high that you can't climb on it or jump on it, but Vito refused, thus trapping himself in the clothing store.
It's a sad story ._. Also, I'm feeling kinda helpless when a cop is shooting from the car behind of me with a Thompson and I can't do a damn thing about it! Maybe driving and shooting at the same time is too hard for the console derps :\
As for the whole 'how women fight thingy': 9/10 women can't fight. For 1: They don't have the raw power a man has. 2: Their hands are usually smaller thus more fragile and 3: They can scratch like mad, they can pull your hair, but they kinda refuse to use their fists. I have seen women fight like men do once, well, one of them was. Guess who won?

it is right that anotomicly , guys are 20% more muscular than weman and they naturaly stronger, but if weman want's, they can become fucking dangerous but mostly the power of the weman is the weaknes of the man;)
