Throughout history, the forces of evolution and genetic mutation have endowed humans with astonishing new abilities and features. It's a process that continues to this day, and nowhere is it more evident than in the fascinating world of Stan Lee's "Superhumans."
Co-hosted by Stan Lee, the legendary creator of the X-Men, the series scours the globe for the real-life counterparts of Lee's characters–people with unique genetic traits that translate into remarkable powers. These include a man whose body is powerfully magnetic, another who can withstand deadly levels of cold and yet another whose brain performs complex calculations at staggering speeds.

I just watched the first episode where they introduce 4 superhumans and it was quite amazing. There's 2 episodes out so far.

I watched half of the first episode but stan lee's gay side kick done my nut in . So switched it off

Well thats your loss. Just watched Eps 2 and Gun Quick Draw and the Shaolin one inch punch was fuckin impressive and amazing.
Now i wish i could draw and have a perfect aim like that guy.

I was amazed with that bat men guy, it's weird to see how our body can adapt to different situations (or how it can change in a different way)...

I skimmed through the first one until I reached the "genuine strong guy" that ripped the phone book in half. It's bullshit show with typical American docudrama (or rather docufiction) reality nonsense ("Super humans exist and we [on the most retarded channel with a cartoon host and a bending sidekick] are going to find them first!!!!!!!!"  ).
I guess they weren't watching MythBusters...

I don't know why, but I just can't stand this American type of style, where everything is over-dramatized and it's always "we are going to find" this and that "for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!", often coupled with some melodramatic deep voice announcer. Just fuck off already, if scientists didn't find it, you on your retarded show won't find it!

@iNatan- sure, that's true, but later on the guy showed actual real strength, bending the wrench, horseshoe, and finally halting a 100HP motorcycle for 15 seconds.
And yes, the style is over-dramatized, sure, but some of the abilities shown there are really interesting, at least for me.

The fact that they show this phone book ripping is enough to let me know most of that stuff is over-dramatized and faked for "OMG" from the viewers.

Sorry but seeing a guy rolling a frying pan like if it was paper is fuckin amazing and didnt give me a "faked OMG" like you said.
Next time, watch the whole show instead of critizing one cheesy part.

Sure, a strong man can do it, but the guy shown is definitely not the muscular type, and that's what weird about it. He's just 168 cm and doesn't seem to be pumped up.
It also was explained that unlike the strongmen, his body produces energy in huge spikes with small intervals, while strongmen's bodies produce the same energy through the whole process.

I thought the indan guy and the human calculator were much more intriguing personally.
The quick shot guy was pretty incredible too.
1 stripe purple belt in JiuJitsu (good grief this takes FOREVER hahah)
