Vista 64-bit, but that's just because I haven't bothered to switch to win7 64-bit. No reason not to go with win7 really.

Win7 x64 IS smoother and better for gaming than Vista 64 due to tons of optimizations that took place with Win7.

Is Win 7 really that much better than Vista?
I tweaked Vista little so to me difference was not as huge as some people say.

Just set power options to high performance, this can boost some games.
