Some stuff from the first game is referenced but it's fairly light and the game does stand on it's own so it's not required to have played it, game itself is a bit cheat at times but can be enjoyed as a simple third person shooter, visuals can be a bit of a problem though.

(It doesn't really do anything from the console version but it's somewhat adjustable if you want to disable the shaky camera effect and cheap camera lens simulated view for example.)

For some reason, I find this game less appealing then the first one.
No change in scenery, and it forces you down narrow streets and corridors.

And it's tingling for a valid reason: the game is objectively mediocre, extremely linear and graphically not satisfying...
If you're extremely bored (like I am atm) you might consider a quick playthrough, and by quick I mean literally, since this is one of the shortest games ever made! 
By the way, I've not finishet it yet, but from what I've seen the first game was definitely superior than this one. At least the original K&L did have a soul. |

What I don't get is wtf is with the pixelated bullshit? HAven't followed the game so much, and the 1st time I fire it up, there's pixels all over the headshots, WTF
Anyone play read dead redemption? Lol their heads have holes in them depending on what you shot them with... Hollowed out heads and all//// This nonsense with the pixels, is the utmost in gayness.... I mean really, wtf? Not even interested in playing it anymore. They go through pains to make the game as real as it gets, only to pixelate kills, fucking assholes... I use that term far too often with these Devs these days, it's not like they could be called anything else after this crap, cocksuckers maybe... Wow

you love it? Good for you I guess. No raging here, already deleted it last nite. Didn't like what I saw, so I got rid of it. On the other hand I'd be ragin if I spent 25 cents on this steaming pile of shit. Awesome mosaic usage; tha's certainly one way to look at it.

I don't think this is a bad game at all. Just like all the other games with huge disparity in review scores this game has something going for it that appeals only to certain players. The SP is short and repetitive but it sort of reminds me of "Irreversible" where one really bad night is described in a similar way - like an ongoing wave of really bad acid. In that sense, the length is perfect, but in the sense of fucking industry standards where you get 10 hours of gameplay for 60$ and a 8.5 review - it's not.
Also, pixelation. You guys bitch about that? It's a cool effect that goes well with the awesome and unique visual style, and if you want to stare at a limp dick or ground brains you're sick.
I don't want to say that everyone should buy this game but I do feel like defending it from bashing. This game has qualities IMO.

And that's your opinion and it's fine, but understand opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. IMO you statements are rediculous, don't presume and call me fucking names, I"m a sick fuck for talking about the pixelation. ON the fly camera action, but oh BTW somehow the "camera" has the ability to pixelate titties and headshots... You do belong in the console section, this audience is a bit more mature here, aside from your sick fucking twisted ideas.. See what I did there. Don't call people names jackoff. Very trollish way to answer for someone who is "anti-troll". They guy is right, the game have good parts and I too had fun playing it. Of course, it's not a must-have, but a nice entertainment for a few hours.

The Good
* Interesting visual style
* Satisfying gunplay with weapons that really pack a punch
* Multiplayer modes can be a lot of fun.

* Action doesn't take long to get repetitive.

OK I take back the "you're sick". Let's say..."you're too childish". And yeah, everyone has an opinion and that is fine also, but the majority of opinions was negative. So yeah..it's a console game and all and bla bla... I just wanted to say how I see some effort and talent in this. That's all.

Destructoid reviewers are dicks, it's not the first time they give a 1.0 score for a game. I remember another game who was actually awesome they gave it 1.0.
