Anyway, before someone released the troll, I was wondering about this issue, which is related to this topic... any thoughts? All ages welcome.

Well, theoretically, because the groups emulate all the Steam calls, there should be no problems. But best is to keep Steam closed while playing such a release.

By the way, I've just finished the game in 2 hours and 45 minutes , and even if the level inside the tower was quite inspired, the ridiculously bad ending ruined everything.
I can't rate it more than a 5/10.

@ixigia So was I right in my comparison of if the first game was a Michael Mann movie, this one is a direct to video quick cash in sequel?

Two and a half hours? Seriously? That really a short game then if it's beatable in less than three hours. Ohh well, guess this is a quick download and playthrough in the same day.

Absolutely. While the first Kane and Lynch had a good plot, some interesting dialogues, a decent longevity and some inspired missions, this one is pratically storyline-less, has no dialogues except "f*ck - sh*t - cr*p - scr*w
you", the longevity is nonexistent and as if all this wasn't enough, the graphics also causes heavy retching

The graphics are a new type of console derpification. Make low poly models, bad animations, 128x128 textures and then to mask all this, make it look like a 320x240 YouTube video and call it a feature "Distinct Visual Style" and they'll eat it for breakfast!

And plus they will be totally indiscernible from the ones played though Onlive!
It's the future Leo!

Maybe they used prerendered 1080p videos for the "Distinct Visual Style" and just overlayed them instead of drawing it in real time?

Yes, it's one of the most original ways of selling piss poor graphics to console derps. Point given.

What the fuck? I don't play a game to look at nice pictures, I play games for... you know.. GAMEPLAY. Gameplay aside? GAMEPLAY ASIDE? GAMEPLAY ASIDE in a GAME? I rest my case.

There are a few weirdos at gamespot saying they appreciated the "art design" though lmao. Personally i'm glad the VHS days are over, i don't know why they are bringing them back especially when kids today grow up with HD video

When I say "gameplay aside" I mean "not talking about gameplay in this context". That's how this phrase is used in English language.
Before engaging in discussion learn things like this, otherwise it makes you look like you're either dumb or trolling when in reality you just didn't understand what I meant.

Pretty cool how a camera can do that on the fly no? It's just bad man... Censorshit at its finest.. BTW there is NO censorship in art. This is not "art" this is "shit"

They should've just gone with the generic brown/grey and nothing but magical blood appearing behind heads after shotgun blast from 2 meters away and there wouldn't be any whining.

Maybe it's not supposed to represent a direct camera feed. With so much video damage it looks more like from some old snuff VHS tape re-recorded a hundred times and being played on FOX news so the nasty bits are censored.
In defense of censorship in art, using my imagination, lol.

Another reason not to play it then.
Also says a lot about you if Faux News is the first channel that comes to your mind.
