They're currently developing a DLC to make Vito just dip his limbs into the water and try its condition. For a full swimming action enabled another DLC is being worked on.

That was the reason I quoted you initially. Just found it curious how in all of your previous posts before that you left the possibility of a missing file out of the equation and it only boiled down to the encryption, SecuROM and Steam and "nothing blocking a theoretical release should a store start selling early". Or does it happen so seldom you might as well not to consider it and in most cases all the needed data is already packed in the *.sid files?

Truth to be told that's a mistake I did as I entirely forgot to account for this possibility which is unfortunate as it's very likely and yes it has happened before (Fear2 for example.) and is becoming more frequently used as it is one of the best methods to prevent a early leak should the archive be decrypted in some way (Like having the keys available for nearly a month now.) before the release date, alternatively a older version is used in place and a small 0-day patch is applied after it's added to Steam during normal installation.
(Often though it just attempts to fix any issues discovered in the time passed since the "gold" announcement to the shipping and release date.)
It's impossible to say though without access to a disc image and that doesn't really matter that much by now anymore since I don't think anything will happen until at least Monday (Game arrives in stores I'd guess though I expected it to happen late this week.) and by then it's just a one day difference from the games actual release date on Tuesday. (US region, Friday for EU but that doesn't matter should a release appear aside from the possibility for additional languages to be present aside from just English.)
Still it's impressive that the game hasn't leaked yet and even more so for the console (X360 mainly.) editions which usually happens even weeks before the official launch day.

Lol, don't jump into conclusions, seen many comments saying the performance improved vastly. And obviously after updating the exe the trainers are not gonna work, because the memory addresses change.

I use a ps3 controller on my laptop for some games but i can't seem to configure it in mafia. i use motionjoy which works fine in other games, but the configure controller in mafia is just greyed out.
Any ideas or have you got to use a 360 controller?
