Just a little bump then for the ripped Playboy images from the game.
(Was in the console section since someone closed the PC thread for some reason but can be here as well.)

(150 MB or so, as a side note as some people asked about it all other data is in the leaked image archives as well so assuming some group gets ahold of the files once it starts spreading to various networks and sources it shouldn't be too long until it gets bypassed properly, nothing but Steam itself as protection from the looks of it.)

And yeah as Neo25 (Or who it was.) said the DLC is part of the game already, Steam just works as a unlock to validate ownership when you purchase or acquire (via preload for example.) one of them.
(Unsure if this goes for the larger story DLC.)

What about unpacking game from iso and placing all the files in mafia 2 demo steam folder and trying to launch it like the demo from steam, can this work?

The demo uses several files named _demo, like for example the GUI (Main menu and such.) but even if you copy the existing GUI and turn it into GUI_Demo the game will just start to a black screen as the data is different plus the code differences between the demo exe and retail exe might be larger than that.
(Must be something in those 20MB, haha.)
Unpacking the files also won't help much as there's no way to repack it and there's a bit of junk data in the extracted files (padding?) so trying to hack something together that way won't work.
All files are available (There will probably be a 0-day Steam update to fix a few things on Tuesday when it's released.) and the release(s) is spreading everywhere so theoretically any real release group or such could acquire it and crack it properly but we'll see.
(I mean I can't see anything but Steam but I can't say what's in the actual exe, unfortunate that loaders or such won't work due to how seldom they're updated but it's just a matter of time and I own the game it'll be playable one way or another in a few days.)

I see a lot of custom repacks out and even stuff like attempts at group names like -CloneDVD-Elite and various instructions on how to install but I can't see anyone mentioning getting past the protection or posting a modified exe but if something does exist things will probably move forward rapidly as it spreads around various sites and sources or what to call it.

Yeah, the latest build of the 360 emu is really something, isn't it? Puts the guys from PCSX2 to shame.

I have a problem in the 8th mission.
The cops keep shotting me.
Is there a better escape route?
While i'm at it.. can anybody tell me how i can enable AA in duke nukem forever?
It's driving me mad.
