Allright, enlighten me! How to use those cracks?
I've read the instructions on phoenix but still, I can only start both skidrow's and the clonedvd release with the skidrow crack. Is there anything to do between the unpacking and the copy crack parts?

You are not a programmer are you? I personally would stay away, you probably played a cheap version of the game missing lots of elements.

Played until chapter 3 with the Skidrow release, using the Meiguo crack with no problems.
Vna, see if your anti-virus or firewall isn't blocking the crack.

Meh, it's down to personal taste I guess. I found the Eurogamer review too bitter, as if written by someone who had Mafia II as an ex-girlfriend.
Since I tend to disagree with Eurogamer on the first game and loved it, I'm having high hopes for this one.

I only have MS security essentials and it would've alarmed if it had trouble. For firewall I use a router. Also I've got a legit steam account and I never had trouble playing.
I could've imagined something was fishy with the install, but after installing the skidrow release I don't think it's not correctly installed. Is there a way to uninstall the clonedvd stuff so I can do a clean install of the skidrow release. I don't know if there should be anything that would fuck the other up (registry, etc.).

I finished chapter 8 with these Instructions
1) Install SKIDROW release
2) Copy over SKIDROW crack
3) Copy over v.3 with chater 7 FIX crack
4) PLAY!
5) Screen flashed yellow once I hit esc key then clicked taskbar MAFIA II.exe and it ran fine...

MS Essentials is working great.....I have know problems with it....Plus it doesn't fill the Task Manager with a bunch of useless processes that slow your comp......I think MS should help protect there OS....it's about fucking time.....protect there cash cow!!!!

started chapter 2 lost health. quit, read your post, changed the date, started mafia 2 again, chapter 2 and no health loss so far.
