I got the ELITE CLONEDVD version , I unpacked with phoenix , I replaced the EXE with the crackfix by skidrow and when I try to launch it connects to fucking steam.
god I hate steam.
Help please ?

Or maybe another group will get in there with a proper.

Finished the DLC this morning , finally there was some resolution to the story , it was mindblowing (even better than the first game's ending) and you finally knew what happend to Joe , but like i said , there is more still to come .
PS
The bald guy from the docs in earlier builds gave you side missions to fetch some cars
You can check stuff that was cut in earlier videos from 09 and 08.
Hopefully the modding community will look for these things in game's data and reactivate them

you talking about the PS3 exclusive DLC? i thought it was a bunch of missions separate from the mafia 2 storyline.

I'm on "Time Well Spent" chapter. No clue how this game got such bad scores. It's linear storytelling done right.

Yep, great game. I got it running just to prepare it for gaming on some other day and it hooked me - played few hours straight. Great LINEAR and city-oriented game. Not repetitive as fuck and i don't give a shit you can't do something in many ways - for me story is the most important thing in games. And lately most game stories suck big fucking dick.

DLC doesn't work for me either. I created a "dlcs" folder in the pc folder, and then I put the cnt_made_man folder inside it. The Made Man Pack shows under Downloadable Content in the main menu but when I go to my garage/carcyclopedia I can only see the cars name. There isnt a car model and car stats. Ideas?

Yes. It's clean. I was already pass chapter 2 but i had a weird issue where my pistol would get holstered after firing a couple of rounds. This fixed it and it's looking good thus far.

So, finished it. 11 hours, most playboys collected. Thoughts on the story(obviously spoilers):
| Spoiler: | I don't buy the thing that Henry was working for the cops. When you did the deal with Chinese it was HE to told you to shoot the (fake) cops, I doubt that was some kind of a show to convince Joe and Vito that Henry is on their side...
Regarding the ending: It wasn't quite as moving as the one in Mafia 1, but I really felt sorry for Joe.  Imagine that, you save your own friend even though you could've become a capo, that was your dream, so you trust your friend and die probably thinking that Vito betrayed you. |
Overall, the story is definitely on par with Mafia's. Excellent voice acting and dialogues, great graphics, amazing score and music. I'd recommend this game to anyone who isn't a console  and expects it to be a GTA set in 40s/50s.

Fixed the health problem in chapter 2 for me. I checked it on virus total before trying it too, I knew I was taking a risk running it but decided to try the dice.

Is there a known problem with AA on 5850 in this game? It's on in the options but doesn't look like it in the game.
i7 6700k @ 4.4 GHZ, 2060s, 16 GB RAM, SSD, Windows 10x64.
