Normal mode of FO3 with FWE you mean. Smug

Casual/hardcore (yeah, it's actually called casual instead of normal Laughing) are not tied to the old difficulties; ie. you can play casual on very hard or hardcore on very easy for example. You can also switch out of hardcore, but once you do that you can't switch back into it, except by loading a savegame prior to the change.

The opening cinematic (apparently the 'one month later' has been edited in and isn't part of the official intro)

I have just seen them Smile What I really like, is the fact that Jason Bergman says "We have made enhancements to combat so that people who likes the real time combat can have a better experience" Smile
I'm all for turn based combat in FO1+2 But VATS seemed too much like a form of cheat mode to me, but the real time shooter mechanics never worked really well in FO3, but maybe NV will allow me too play it as a proper real time fps mixed with RPG elements. Crossing my fingers Smile

That video is fan edited; the One Month Later is added with a crappy font, plus the the part of the Robot at the end is from another video.

For comparison purposes these are the minimum requirements for Fallout 3:

* Windows XP/Vista
* 1GB system RAM (XP)/ 2GB system RAM (Vista)
* 2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
* Direct X 9.0c-compliant video card with 256MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X850 or better)

if it runs like Fallout 3, it will be be perfect for me. Played at least 50 hours on it, just can't wait anymore for this one. Stuck on Borderlands DLC now.

Obsidian + hardcore mode + dumb dialog option + improved RPG mechanics + this:

Fallout 3:
163 marked locations
~20 side quests
~35 free quests

New Vegas:
Over 200 marked locations
~70 full fledged sidequests
~90 free quests

A must buy game for me. Very Happy

This really is sounding better and better every day. I hope Obsidian keep up Bethesda's trend of "mini expansion packs" The addons for FO3 were really enjoyable.
