Nice. Hope they take this opportunity to polish the AI and strengthen the ties to the game lore as well, to make each cup and team have a more individual feel instead of all the randomization.

Hm, seems to be the Khemri. They're sort of similar to Undead, but more mummy-heavy.

So Legendary Edition isn't an update to the current version? It's a whole new game?

ya.
if you already own the previous game, you get 30% off this game.
reading on the internet, seems like the old BB was a "beta-demo" for this one, much much more polished and full. (just look at how many races between the 2 version!)

If there is no release, think about getting it from play.com. Its fairly cheap there at the moment.

Strange... I can't get past the CD key request the crack left in. Tried typing in some random crap, but it wouldn't take.
EDIT:
I can only assume the serial's in the .nfo, but it doesn't appear to come with one.

Played a couple of games...It´s fun to have all the teams in - but the AI is still in shambles :/
There are two kinds of people I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

There's nothing really different about LE - they just added a couple of teams (and stadiums apparently, but I haven't seen any of them as yet). If you know nothing of the original BB boardgame then yeah, this isn't really going to be your thing.
Something that definitely hasn't changed is the highly improbably dice roles in SP. Despite the developer of BBOracle claiming that they are randomly generated by a known (good) algorithm, I've still encountered the same old "double double skulls" (i.e. rolling double skulls then again with a re-roll - a 0.077% chance) more times than you would reasonably expect by chance. The AI teams also seem to do unreasonably well on injury rolls and such.

The AI definitely cheats on dice rolls, hardcore. They fail a dodge maybe one out of 30 attempts, if that. I've never seen them fumble a pass or miss a catch out of the 7 or so games I've played. Pretty much ruins the game.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.
