the correct hash for the 3.41 update should be : e07d2b84c9e9691c261b73e5f1aada20 (according to ps3hax)
i got it before they changed on main site, happy days

There is none. This new FW adds absolutely nothing new, it's just a - as Sony call it - "security update" They haven't even updated their support page yet, it still says "Firmware 3.41"

There's a lot of speculation going round but it seems, for now, the *current* method of exploitation has been sealed. That's not to say there's not going to be a work around sometime in the future, but for now? It's effectively blocked.

well,not for me,I'm not updating further,for me the fun as just began,and Sony can't do anything about it,I don't care about Online on consoles,Online gaming is still belong to the PC world,SC2 FTW!

Likewise. I'm on 3.41 and, for now, I'll just use the proxy server to access PSN if I need to. I'm not updating at all.

Can anyone up the REAL 3.41 somewhere?? I was busy yesterday backing up my games on my new slim so I can play them on my old Phatty that has a busted DVD drive (the drive plays just eventually stops so I think it will work) and I didnt realize that system is still on something like 3.30.
Would be of great help.

i downloaded the 3.41 update file a while ago,ps3 is still at 3.15. any one tried if the jailbreak is working fine with that version or should i update?

The Jailbreak doesn't work on anything less than 3.41 .. you just get a blank screen when you try.

M$ didn't able to patch the DVD hack,it will be the same with Sony?

btw,I did the 3.41 FW via disk on key{after formated it to FAT32},it's possible to use it as external Drive?
I bought the first Uncharted also,I have heard you need original disc in the drive while JAILBREAKING

Yes, you can use the FAT32-partitioned USB key as an external drive and yes you need *a* legitimate BR disk in the drive when loading JB backups.

Ok im having problem .. really need some assistance .. im also using a 16gb USB drive until my HDD arrives.. i jailbroke my PS3 no problem and have games ready to go . but when i go to load the game backup it only ever loads the disk in the drive and never my backup .. i have seen others with this issue .. not sure what im doing wrong . i thought maybe a bad backup manager but ive tried 3 different version and still no luck.. so close i am ... help please .

Did you flash the correct patched PSGroove .HEX to your Jailbreak? The "official" .hex file is altered so that you can't load backups. You need the patched one that re-enables BD-Emulation.

umm yes your right i just ran it by someone and if i have dev_xxxx in my psfreedom.ko then its not patched .. good thinking Sabin1981

Yup, for now at least. I can confirm this is working for me ... though I have to use the LG5Tool as the DNS addresses do NOT work for me, I get a DNS error when attempting to test or sign into PSN.

hey sabin did know anything about android port?
The wiki says I need to enable or disable the hack on the phone. So what happened if I not disabled the hack on the phone? Is it still booted normally and accepting calls?
