OK I made these screens for another guy so I thought I'd post them here since they might help some people get the game working. These are the settings I used and the game worked fine so try these with Blindwrite 4.5.7 and if it doesn't work then you're cursed.

Well... could some1 help? I made everything correct... like the pics in this post... but when i got this last SS... the "Next" button isn't clickable... like the pic... neither the "Go !" one... :/

It says there's NO media detected... I've already tried with several games... with my Plextor CDRW and my NEC DVDRW... with Imation medias... :/

Tried with other games too... what could it be?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

PS: If I can't make this work... if I use Alcohol instead will it work?

Hi ...

Clock "Go!" ....

The screenshot shows that your CDRW is being detected. If you have selected the CM5.BWT as the Image File and you have all 3 x requited files (CM5.BWA + CM5.BWI + CM5.BWT) in a folder to burn from, it will work.

After you click Go!, a message box will come up asking if you want to accept BWA ?. Click Yes" and burning will start ....

Install from the disk and keep it in the PC when you play ...

Sorry I assumed the screenshot was your own ...

... the only think I know re "Autoplay" is that you uncheck "Autoplay Support" in Blindwrite Configuration on Blindwrite v4.5.7.92 (you also uncheck "Enhance weak sectors".

This shouldn't affect Detection of a CD though. Is your CD damaged ... try an alternative disk.

In "Select a DCD writer" on Blindwrite, have you chosen your burner ?.

Is your writer in the list of support CD writer types ? (see the "Browse / Update CD units database" button in "Select a DCD writer").

I have WinXP Pro with SP1 only (not SP2) .... maybe SP2 (if you have it ?) could be causing a problem ?

Or maybe you have emulation software causing a conflict ???

Just a couple of "desperate" suggestions ?

FM2005 was not that small, it was around 500mb if I remember correctly.

But you know - size doesn't matter, it's the quality that counts and everything I've seen read and heard about CM5 suggests entirely that it's nothing more than a cash cow.

Have you seen a demo? Read a review?

Of course not, and especially relevant given it's release date. They don't want you to know how far off this game is for challenging FM2005, they just want it to sell on the power of the old franchise. And likely that is what will happen.

The Game is nog even out! Like CM5. But FM was dissepointing... Rolling Eyes
CM is more my thing, see what the new devlopper has done. Someone played it already?

The "CM5" game was officially released in the UK shops on Friday, March-18 ... some orders shipped by mail arrived the day before ... and an official Update patch was released online the same day !!! (which says somethng ?).

And yes ... it is "disappointing" ... check out the forums on the CM5 Official site to confirm these comments (posted by long term CM users).

Lots & lots of bugs, some extremely poor research into teams; staff, players, contracts from the "real world" sometimes 4 sendings off in a match (I had 3 of my back 4 sent off in one game and 12 sendings off in 8 Premiership games !) .....

And yes ... I have played it ...

This thread should be moved to tech area, got nothing to do with the sub. the game rls is real, buggy as hell due to the poor processing and method chosen to bring this to the scene, but then again, as usual, the race for the scene exceeds the quality of the rls... same same. some like it, some dont, those who do r entitled to think so, and i can only hope that they will credit the fact that others may thing higher of fm2005.. taste issue, thats all.
