Interesting thing this ZDP protection, a sort of encryption on the game exe plus a release date check, details via a xml file but editing it isn't easy and it's kinda pointless as well since this is (As far as I know.) the first ZDP protected title released, still I have it "preloaded" at least, might be useful.

I do buy a lot of games though it's usually to support developers, I'm interested in many different genres as well so I look at several titles though while I do download most anything to try I only purchase a few of them.
(Then again I download and try most anything so it probably balances out.)
Mafia 2 for example had been on pre-order for some time, end result could have been better but I found the game fun if a bit simple at times and the game play length was a bit below average.
(Used to place various pre-orders early on but I'm a bit more careful now instead of just going by hype and rumors.)
Elemental seemed very innovative though suffered from a few really problematic bugs and many smaller problems initially.
(Amnesia is similar in a way though traditional horror but well implemented.)
This game I'm not sure about, it seems very fun but I have nothing to base it on compared to say Devil May Cry 4 (DMC3.5 PC and the benchmark "demo") Resident Evil 5 (Benchmark again plus the earlier RE titles were solid.) or Lost Planet (Demo and benchmark.) or SF4 to use some Capcom games, quality has been a bit so-so due to third party studios as shown via Dark Void and RE4 unfortunately.
As for ZDP to answer that question it was mentioned on the previous page, I simply looked it up on google which lead to Capcoms forums, it's sort of short for Zero Day Piracy (prevention - should have been ZDPP but they do call it ZDP.) and along with SSA or server-side-authentication allows for improved copy protections such as each key needs to be unique plus might have game specific keys and the ZDP stuff allows game encryption over the exe and then a release date check via GameID and which files to check, it's server side as well so it can't be influenced easily but it might still be crackabe, I'm not very good at that sort of thing myself though but encryption is probably rather strong plus these server-side checks so waiting might be the only option for now.
