lol you are mean.. its very well possible that those firmware's will never be cracked.. look how long it took for the jailbreak to arrive more then 3 years !
never update beyond 3.41. .. the firmware's probably will be cracked but only if you can use the jailbreak device and you are on 3.41.

Of course ill be staying on 3.41 from now on. Just wandering if they someday will release custom firmware with this 3d-blu ray support included. Im so much interested what all can be done by homebrew.

Well, from what I understand you can already boot a different FW from usb directly into RAM without modifying the console at all, so I guess as soon as someone figures out a way to dump 3.50 fw you could just load it from usb when you want to play 3d movies.

NO ofcourse NOT if you can't jailbreak your ps3 you will not be able to use that. for now only the 3.41 is the jailbreakable firmware..

So can anyone confirm whether the Jailbreak games work if you use a DEMO disk rather than an retail PS3 game? I kind of slightly might have just kicked myself in the ass >_>

people on psx scene said it works.. demo game blu ray disc has the same encryption as an full game so it make sense that it would work.

if you need a real disc i got your back. you can have my copy of infamous. got it off ebay for next to nothing and it wasn't worth my time. JUST MY OPINION of course. i didn't enjoy it.

I'm still not sure which I prefer; InFamous or Prototype. Since InFamous was one of the games I sold, I'm definitely going to be redownloading it (if the demo trick works)

np, if you need it you can have it. if you don't want it and someone else does they can have it. i played it for about 10 mins and just couldn't get into it.
i just ordered one of those avr's, thanks for sharing that info man. gonna give the chinaman another 3 or 4 days and then i'm filing a dispute with paypal.

sounds like sony are going to push the jailbreak out to the margins by techniques like that, and using fliesizes etc etc.
will end up only being able to play old games on it, all the new stuff probably wont work by sounds of it

Its so early in the PS3 scene world its hard to tell exactly what will happen.
I very much doubt if people will say "Oh, heck Sony won, time to pack up" thoguh
