is this game released early in the US? I'm living in the EU and Steam tells me that there is 2 days and 10 hours to release.

Seriously.. you people should not look at pre-release material, if you can't handle the wait. Not to mention that europeans have to wait 3 more days, so the very least, show some sympathy and stop moaning about how you can't wait 3 more hours to get the game.

Updated again, unencrypted files this time, exe related.
(Seems it's true that it supports DX11, Steam listed it amongst the appid stuff but what could the game benefit from, performance related most likely like DirectCompute acceleration and the like.)
EDIT: Though it is possible (Or atleast it has been.) to get past that if the unencrypted NCF's are uploaded and replaced as those control what's downloaded and in what state.
(Sort of, might have changed, not very up to date on these sort of things.)

I see. I will never understand why they have different Premiere dates for the Continents. And it makes even less sense with DD titles...

Probably because Civ5 isn't a DD-only title. Given there's a retail version, it has to follow those rules.

Yes it seems like retail stores are to blame, but really it's the publishers who are to blame.
I'm in europe as well, but I just connected to an american vpn, sorted.

They are just pushing for mass pirating in Europe these next couple of days. Of course everyone will end up buying this game, but seriously, this is a bad selling strategy, whoever is to blame.

Please tell me how! I'll be thankful forever. I've been using Your Freedom, but capped at 8kb/s, that doesn't work very well.
