Seriously, even the super arcade racers have a control panel for adjusting the sensitivity/dead zone

(at least both DiRT 2 and GRiD had it)

Seriously guys, can't you view replays in the game? Only flashbacks?
you get the replay option at the end of the race on the scoreboard screen

Yea, but the thing is there isn't such option. Only continue or restart.

Found the solution, had to free up some space on my operating system hard drive (from <2g to 4g). So if anyone is experiencing the same thing, free up some space. Too bad these things have to be sorted out by yourself every time... manuals are just a waste of time

@ixigia Better wait for a patch before intensive gameplay... Sad In their infinite wisdom, Codemasters has neglected to include sensitivity and dead zone settings, so playing with a pad is very difficult, especially on wet track. It's very when you consider it's primarily marketed to console users who more likely than not do not have wheels.

At least Logitech has competent software:

Heh nice, but you will can't compare to native support from the game. I am guessing they will release a patch very soon to fix these problems. But since this is a G4WL game, there is a minimum of 2 weeks wait for MS to check fox HAX. Laughing

Summarizing, I need so far:

- a patch that allows to change the sensitivity/dead zone when using a controller;

- a mod that removes the sepia palette.

played it abit and i guess that without racing wheel this game is pointless, i mean if i had to play this with keyboard probably i would have uninstall it very fast, but with wheel...it's diffrent story Smile

and yea as said above or few pages back, force feedback feels not right, but still it's cool.

Does it say hardware or software in the game audio settings, you might need to have the latest drivers as well and maybe even ALchemy though I think it's using OpenaAL so that shouldn't be required to get proper hardware funcitonality.

Same thing here, everything maxed. Damn these ports! Honestly, I expected a lot more graphically. It's not bad of course and the gameplay works, but the time it took making this and all I see is Grid 1.1.

Sadly, as long as this generation of consoles is alive, we'll never experience a graphically mind-blowing multiplatform title.

As for the rain drops, it's pretty much clear that they've been designed to look good on a 720p TV Mad

the replays are crap anyway Razz

will be better when there are mods to

remove the crap colour filter
add only TV style cameras angles for replays

bound to happen because you could get them for grid
