Not sure if my PSbreak is upgradable , i plugged it into the usb port of pc and it installed some drivers, but im not really fiussed with upgrading it , it will do me to play some games for now , when things progress and the need to upgrade becomes warrented i will buy a diff one that can be upgraded  .
But for now GAME ON!!!

Why would PSJB create a new backup manager now when their product is basically dead in the water? I just can't see it happening. Unless they try to rework their product to have the BM somehow built into the dongle itself with better protection this time to prevent it from being cloned so quickly.
I'm not even sure if that's possible though. And it would mean having to manufacture a new product that likely no one would buy due to their shakey track record.
Ths guys are gone and they're never coming back.

66 pages and i cant find a manual how to play games off external hdd and how to copy them to external hdd.
Copyd the game folder to HDD, but the manager dont find it....dont know how to copy it too...
Or is the FTP thing the only solution?
Someone please help:)

Are you copying the game to GAMEZ folder in the root of the external , i made a folder called GAMES 1st and it didnt see it , it needs to be GAMEZ/gamename/ |

I found this link which was handy for those in Windows 7. No drivers needed or anything, just command prompt.
I've not seen it posted before but its the command line input to format FAT32 in Windows 7. I've just done a 320Gb drive without issue.

is there a way to delete single files or rename folders on the internal hdd yet? ps3ftp is so clunky at the moment.

Awesome news - thx for that! Where is the best place to find new hex files that have BM enabled? I am using Teensy 2.0 and a forum member was kind enough to provide me with the "old" hex.

Downloaded the modified backup manage. Extracted it was expecting it to be a .pkg file, not a load of different ones.
How do i go about installing this?
I have a XPLAIN board (if that matters).

Clones like the PS3YES are supporting this Backup Manager v2 already providing the Firmware Version 1.0922 , hermes, LV2 for their device. Did anyone get this clone?

Just found out that PSfreedom will soon work on my Samsung Galaxy S, but i have already installed 3.5 firmware to fucking PS3 because of move games :/ That was required to install. But anyway, will wait until they find workaround for 3.5 and then hax ps3 with phone.

i think the only exploit that will benefit most move users now will be a downgrade option to 3.41 from any FW. <---- I know it's a little bit far fetched but I don't see another usb jailbreak happening on the newer firmwares pretty soon.
