So SHITROW still didnt cracked the god damn steamapi.dll ?
Also im kinda surprised that the Civ 5 .gcf's are still not roaming around the internet, since we could be probably able to play the game with just MiSteam / SmartSteam etc.

Next person who mentions elemental or compares Civ to Elemental in any way will find itself watching gay porn at gunpoint. That, or a kitten dies. Both, if you really piss me off.
Comparing the two is like comparing playing chess with fucking your GF. "it ain't the same fuckin' ballpark, it ain't the same league, it ain't even the same fuckin' sport..."

Exactly, because playing chess is clearly superior.

Well after playing the demo I think I kind of liked how they dumbed it down (SIC!).
I loved Civ 1 and Civ 2, kinda missed Civ 3, and liked Civ 4. But Civ 4 was a little bit overcomplicated for me. To many variables in the equation, to really control everything... Or was it just me and not studying any manual properly to know each dependancy? But Civ 5 seems a little bit more like Civ 1 or 2. Easier to manage. And I like it.

Try to download already decrypted files
- Delete local content
- Exit steam
- connect to us vpn
- login to steam
- click install
- you can now disconnect vpn without pausing downloading, and steam will continue to download decrypted files
This trick worked for me with F1 2010, should work here too

Well, Civ3 was quite alright in my book. Had some of the most awesome battles in that, like when i had a continent wide border (like the one between US and Canada for example) fortified with forts on every other square (there was zone of control in civ3), and the enemy AI did the same, so there we were, two huge armies facing eachother at the opposite sides of the border. Suffice to say, the showdown of that standoff was epic.
Civ4, with the two expansions is easily the best civ yet. Not counting Civ5, which i havent had the chance to try just yet. Yes, there are quite a lot to take care of, but it simply has everything you might need. Religions, espionage, corporations, a rather cool bonus system for netions / leaders (i kinda like the racial trait based system in civ4). Not to mention that Civ4 has awesome mods. Hell, Rise of Mankind with its 300ish technologies and god knows how many units is a whole different game in itself
I kinda hope there will be a RoM for Civ5 and then we are all set for another few years of epic CIVness.

I see there's already a mod for Civ5 to remove the one unit per tile limit. Isnt there one to add the limit to Civ4 ?

Activision aren't the ones who set $=€ and I find it an incredible stretch to believe that Activision want Australia to pay almost 75% more than, say, England.
