Has anyone else with a wireless 360 pad noticed that you can't do 360 donuts/burnouts on a bike like you can with the keyboard?

I don't get any if there's no floating numbers according to the total PP count in the status screen.

Then I don't know, it must be a bug. I've personally seen the PP gauge rising (albeit VERY slowly) as I've been killing zombies, even when not seeing the PP floating numbers :\

Think about it; you HAVE to get PP from standard kills, else how the hell else are you going to progress through the game? No, you don't only get PP from special weapon kills and/or rescues .. you get it via combat. Any combat. Special weapons just give you a multiplier of PP.

No, you DO NOT get PP when there's no floating number. Killing with common weapons using normal attacks gives you nothing, just check your profile after every kill. But killing with secondary attack (if the weapon has one) by holding down attack button gives you PP which of course is indicated by floating number.

I levelled up three times before I even HAD a combo weapon, so yeah. PROVE ME WRONG. Why the fuck else would combo cards say "X2" or "X3" --- here's a clue; X2 of NOTHING is still what? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Yea I'm using the emu, if I press both triggers nothing happens, the bike doesn't accelerate or brake.

Are you really this dumb? I explained how you'll get PP with normal weapons, by using secondary attack. Also you'll get PP after every 50 kills plus all the other stuff in the game.

Here's your proof:

Instead of rolling your eyes like an idiot you could have just fired up the game and see it for yourself.

Then wahey for me, I guess it's a bug in my favour and yah boo sucks to be you Rolling Eyes I roll my eyes because you still haven't answered my question. Using custom weapons gives you x2/x3 BONUS PP (the manual specifically states BONUS PP.. not "the only way to earn PP") and, once again, I ask you; what is x2 of nothing? Like I said; I've seen the experience bar rising when I've been mowing down zombies with STANDARD weapons.

Take that for what you will.

If I'm wrong about the whole thing (and it just turns out I have a "phantom" copy of the game that awards you PP for blinking randomly) then I apologise, and happily so. All I know is I've been getting PP for all combat, using standard OR custom weapons.

Sounds like you have both triggers on the same axis, one trigger goes up and the other goes down, so when you press both at the same time they cancel each other out. Look into the settings in the emu.

X2 as opposed to X1 from scratch cards.

 Spoiler:

Get your fucking facts straight before you start going apeshit.

Kill count, rescues, fulfilment, missions completed and special kills grant pp

Normal combat doesn't give any pp. Rolling Eyes

X2 FROM NORMAL SCRATCH CARDS. And you're blind if you saw it move by normal kills.

It's x2 of this weapons heavy attack PP. Lets take baseball bat for example. Normal attack gives you nothing, heavy attack gives you 25 as indicated by floating number. Spiked Bat card says x2 and its normal attack gives now 50 PP. Also Spiked Bat has heavy attack which gives 200 PP.

Because you'll mix in heavy attacks and passed another 50 zombies etc.

Ahhh, well I guess that explains that Very Happy So the x2 bonus PP applies to the FIRST weapon you put on the table to combine? If I combine the axe + sledgehammer, but use the axe first, then the x2 bonus applies to the Axe heavy attack PP?

In that case, I still don't know why I've been seeing the experience bar raise during combat (without seeing the PP floating notifications) - but I guess you're right and I was mistaken. I'm sorry about that <3

Also there are exceptions where weapon doesn't give nothing at all, like the broadsword which has actually 3 attack modes: normal, heavy and combo finisher when you tap attack 3 times. Yes it's badass and satisfying to cut zombies in half vertically and horizontally but the downside is no PP.

Anyone know if you can change the CD-key associated with the game from an ini file or something if you're using the original files uncracked, but then buy the retail? Also, can the save transfer from original files to retail if you have to reinstall, do ya think, or was the save corruption a special case with Skidrow?

My bloody money is late so I can't just buy it right now like I want to, haha.

...Oh, and can you only get combo cards from movie posters/level ups, or are there other ways?I found the tenderizer and lightsaber combo cards, but I'm looking for more.

Sabin I just found that, it's in the cinema outdoors where the shelter outside door is located, near a small outdoor casino and a bar called Juggz (milkshakes and stuff.)

You don't need the info to create anything (A draft will be created when you do it anyhow.) but you won't get the x2 PP bonus otherwise so instead of 75 without the poster you'll get 150 with it, not that high compared to say air horn at 500 or bladed boxing glove thing at 300 but the weapon itself is far stronger and more versatile.

Ah, disregard my logic on that part. First thing I tested was the spike bat and for that it added up nicely but not for the other stuff. So it's like Mussolinka said, x2 of the PP what you would get with the scratch card. Like when you combine drill and bucket before getting the combo card you'll only earn 250 PP but with the combo card it's 500 PP.

The LIVE unlocked exe does not use any common copy protection like SecuROM, seems the eastern-European editions had this as a extra or there are several different variants of the game around.
(It's possible some retail editions will use SecuROM whereas others and the digital download will just use ZDP via LIVE as well.)

The exe was posted earlier, you still need LIVE so it's not a crack.
(Though you can use Skidrows Xlive.dll file to remove that as well but you own the game and thus have a valid key, exe is not compatible with current trainers as it's a bit different.)

Amazing how great the E8400 still is. Even more so once you easily up the FSB to 400mhz for the 3.6ghz overclock. The final upgrade for my system will be getting a Q9650 to go quad core. That said, i've yet to find a game that needs anything more then the E8400, and the Q9650 is still vastly overpriced.

i agree I have not found a game that I cannot max out with my setup. Well that is I can max out the dx10 Razz I dont really care about dx11 yet from what I have seen it dosent really add much of anything yet. Oh and I know it will eventually but for now I am fine with my 280 Smile

No one has said you don't earn exp with normal weapons. For the 10th time, you can earn it but only when using alternate attack. If you didn't see the floating exp number after the kill you didn't get anything from it directly.
