Had that happen a lot to me at some point. Stupid postman just would not give me any notification that a package had arrived, and sometimes not even try to give it to me at my door! I was at home the whole day, and then some days later I found at that supposedly I was absent and that's why they couldn't deliver the package...

But still, gratz Sabin, I hope you fun with your new toy Wink

What I can suggest is to go to http://www.posten.no/ and enter the tracking number there and see if you can get some more info. Royalmail tracking doesn't tell you anything useful once the package has left GB, but you can usually get more relevant info on it when tracking through the destination country's post (if it made it that far)

THANK YOU!

I checked with Posten and, using my Royal Mail tracking number, they say it had arrived at Kaldnes Posten THREE DAYS AGO! Arghhh... it's ready for collection right now. Which begs the question; why didn't they deliver it to my home? Ah well, I'll go down shortly and pick it up XD

np mate. I actually suspected exactly that...
Delivery guys make mistakes quite regularly, which can lead to your delivery notice (telling you to get your package at the post office) end up in the wrong mailbox and stuff like that. I work at the post so I know for a fact how often shit goes wrong with these kinds of things. lol

My Amtel board arrives tomorrow. Can't wait to try this shit out.

Has anyone tried out FTP server using a wired connection without any wireless router? I mean like a direct link using an Ethernet cable to connect from your PC to PS3. Is that even possible? If yes, then how do we go about it?

Yes, it's completely possible =) You may need a cross-over cable if your PC NIC is too old to support auto-sensing, but for the most part it's simply a case of connecting the PS3 to your PC via LAN and boom; instaconnection without the need for a router.

Oh I enjoyed the game but I don't think it was a great game. It had some serious problems - like I already said the difficulty and the moronic story were the biggest ones for me. The silly story with all these shitty titans climbing up Mount Olympus and all these hades levels were crap imo. And the difficulty was piss easy on normal. The first God of War game was the complete opposite! It had an interesting story and the difficulty on normal was very challenging. Imo the series went downhill with each sequel. While GOW1 was a 5 out 5 stars game for me, GOW2 was a 4 out of 5 and GOW3 a 3 out of 5 game.

Congrats for your "delivery" sabin! Wink

When I Switched to the hermes method it worked fine whereas previously it crashed . Was internal hdd ( Which is odd , as 3d dot heros is the opposite )

It's working! It's working!! Woooooohooooo!!

AT90USB162, flashed with PSgroove (with peek/poke access, I've not tried Hermes yet)
All packages installed (Blackb0x FTP, Awesome File Manager, Backup Manager v1, SNES9x) and working.
Demo disk in the drive.
"Mounted" Demon's Souls and it works perfectly!

Very Happy

I'm not going to mess around with Hermes and BM2 since the compatibility is too hit and miss compared to BM1, according to PSX-scene. So I'm just going to stick with PSGroove 1.1 and BMv1 for now.
