sorry to go a bit off topic.

off topic didnt he get married though to nell mcandrew or whatever her name was? (the model/tv presenter)

on topic if this is as good as timesplitters 2 then thats good enough for me, I know that TS and TS2 are dated now compared to other FPS games but there still well done and alot of fun - co-op mode especially.

Yeah I love it. It's set in Edinburgh where I live. I gave up the smack years ago though Wink

Is it true that in the US they had subtitles for it because noone could understand? I speak like that all the time heh.

lol dunno. but im suprised they didnt do a remake of it like they always do of all foreign movies. they dont seem to understand "british" english, so i doubt they would understand scottish! and i dont think they can read subs. Very Happy

haha anyway, has anyone tried driving around with the cat yet? that was by far best/funniest thing about the game so far. great sound effects too! Smile

Where did you see the release? If it's released then there should be a NFO. Difference should be Multi Language no?

I completed the game a couple of hours ago, wasnt expecting much after what some people were saying about the demo and Nailbiters mini review of the game but I really enjoyed it and was totally impressed with the game from start to finish, having said that im a huge fan of the first 2 games so perhaps thats why I liked this one because its more of the same.

Only disappointing things about it for me were the longevity of the story mode which is very short indeed and a couple of the new gadgets, namely the one which allows you to lift stuff/manipulate objects and the kind of holographic automapper they looked cool but were barely even used in the game. Aside from that well impressed the graphics are spot on for this style of FPS game, theres so much character in the models and the voiceovers were well done and in keeping with the humour from the previous games especially funny are the parts involving game character Harry Tipper.

As per usual the game is crammed with multiplayer options including co-op, the multiplayer aspect it has to be said is very impressive not to mention wacky, racing cats/disco dancing monkeys/monkey curling!!!!.

Im loving the sexual innuendos in the game too, even the robot gets into it at one point. Laughing

The game engine appears to have been improved, there are vehicles in the game in both single and multi play, the story mode and the missions within the story mode feel alot more complete even though that mode is a little too short, the addition of the new wrist based weapons (the object manipulator), the majority of the single play missions have you working through them with a partner (i.e the scottish guy, the girl in the mansion, the robot), theres the way that your future self comes back at some parts to help you and in turn you take the role of your future self, alot of the weapons are new to the game as are some of the multiplayer game modes. You also play the role of cortex all the way through the game in TS1 and TS2 you took on the role of various characters including harry tipper.

There are alot of smaller differences and no doubt alot of easter eggs that I still havent discovered/unlocked like in TS2 which had mini games that could be played in game on your handheld auto mapper similiar to what system shock 2 had. There are alot of new models for the multiplayer mode as well if you look in the gallery it shows around 100-150 playable characters at a guess so many I counldnt even be bothered to count them.

Overall I just think its a more polished game, I would have loved to have seen EA bring this out on pcs as well as it would be ideal for LAN play.

ah right now I got where you mean, when you go into one of the rooms it will tell you to start a fire so that the fire suppressors start - if you hunt around a little you'll find a room with alot of pcs and monitors built into the desks next to that room is a smaller room that has some crates/barrels in it. Fire a dozen or so rounds into the barrels in that room and step back after you do that the resulting explosion will trigger the sprinklers and you can move onto the next section. Wink
