In your city screen you'll see how much more culture you need when you hover over "culture" with your mouse. You don't buy tiles with culture, the city acquires a tile itself when it has enough culture.

You can. Don't you see a "buy tiles" option when you open the city screen? You buy with gold btw, not culture.

I installed the game, plus the updates. But I keep getting an errr message when I try to start it up. Something about 'the procedure entry point not located in the dynamic link library CvLocalizationWin32Final Release.dll'
And yes, I copied the cracked content to the install directory. Anyone else have this problem, or heard of it?

Did you RUN the update installers before copying cracked files? Check that you installed it to the right path - select the Civ5 root dir.

It seems it's a known issue, by looking at [ur=http://forums.2kgames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87731l]THIS[/url].
Anyone else had this issue? Tips, ideas... ?! No solution from that thread has worked here.
Thx!

Then rename/move/delete the intro video so the game skips it?

That doesn't make much sense (even if true). There's still a lot of people out there with a 8800 series card, or for that matter with the G92 chipset (like myself). Got any link/info on this?
I still can't start the damn game. Hell, I can't even see the intro.

Is it possible to purchase the building you are currently building? It doesn't appear in the purchase menu. But it seems odd if its not possible. What am I missing ?

I would assume you're missing the right civic. In Civ 4, you needed a certain one at least to speed up the building process with dinero.

Could be, but it doesn't work just like civ4. Because you can purchase every building as long as you are not currently building it, or unit. I would just like to hurry this production of a granary.

Well, how ? And don't say the purchase option, because I can only buy things for full price. I cannot rush my last for example 50 hammers. Its what I'm looking for.

You can only purchase full buildings, you can't "finish" buildings with gold.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.
