Information on SF3 seems harder to come by than a gold plated turd. I'd be interested in finding some information on SF3 if any is available beyond a description of a single PCode I've seen on the web.

yeah man
I'd like to take a look at it just to see what the deal is.
I guess those who know how to do it, keep it secret...like the fuckin windows source code...how can u truly develop an app that is 100% compatible with an OS when parts of the sc u may need are "private"? fuckin stupid

no txt files exists, no methods r developed yet, only tell tales and young guns claming they got game on usenet srv and forums. if u wanna know more about the tech behind sf3 og s7, then contact the distributors, they r obliged to give out the info according to the law. they call it a tech page, and u can study the structures, and play with it...

Which law obliges a Russian company to give information to someone in the US or the UK?

Or indeed distributors for that matter? No more likely them giving you this info than them discussing the source code of their games?

Well, i highly doubt they'd give out a tech paper...doesnt make sense, and considering their russian(?) i dont think there is a chance in hell
I checked out their site and they have a white paper only, no tech specs

Usually, when new software comes out, code structure and such get posted on the RE boards...haven't seen any, and i know u europeans are quick on cracking that shit, I dunno, be interesting to get some specs

Article $n17.28 , the OSW congression held in geneva june 2004. by law, an entity, a person etc has the right to query and ask for information regarding all new technology, without being provided with the actual secrets within the technology, thats why its called a tech paper, it explains how it works, but doesnt reveal the code. to some this is often enough, thinking up ways to counter the measures taken when creating s7 etc... so it doesnt really matter if u r russian or polish, u ask and u get, the only thing u have to respect is that only a court can decide whether or not the source should b rls, however no1 really cares that much, they r just curious about the new technology, and wish to know more. now it does make sense because companies have the opportunity to draw attention to their work, without having to spend millions on adds, and therebye a tech paper can inspire many to know more, or want more in relation to the product.

Not likely, the information was intented for educational purposes only in generel. Draw a comparison to Coca Cola, they will enlighten u and reveal what ingredients are in their product, colour code this and that, coke extract or whatever, but the method of producing it is not revealed, so knowing the ing, doesnt equal u being able to produce the same taste nor flavour, but as for the regards of information, they did what they were asked to do.. listing the ingredients, and thats all, not the magic formula.
