Just finished with the S ending.
I dunno, I felt the story bits were much better/more interesting in the first game.
Spoiler: | Also, the overtime mode was pretty crap in this one. |

Too bad the first part never came out on PC. Released on the X360 4 years ago.
I'd like to play the first Dead Rising badly.

The last boss of the A ending can be defeated easily with air attacks. You need to jump and press the attack button mid-air to hit him. Regular attacks don't seem to harm him at all.

As a side question, apart from the (Ever increasing as with most such activities like the peep-show, money burner and the fortune teller - which also had a separate extra bonus.) PP (XP) is there any benefit from doing those deliveries, I know the above is about Zombrex but as a general question about the other list of items she can recieve.
Spoiler: |
Robot bear
Bag of marbles
Beach ball
Stick pony
Giant stuffed donkey
Giant stuffed elephant
Giant stuffed bull
Water gun
Giant stuffed rabbit
Tiger
|
I've given her most of those but so far there's been no real benefit from carrying those around half the map and the last one looks quite problematic, I'll see eventually but worth asking incase anyone know.

A patch is out via Games for Windows LIVE's framework.
(Or what to call it, edited a bit to look better from the initial post.)

Does this provide hope for co-op?

Unsure what it does, there's nothing I can find about it.
Here's the files plus the unpacked files and a shortcut to force install it to anywhere if it doesn't work, of course without a crack this isn't useful at all.
Actually offline mode might work as there's nothing else.

EDIT: From some people, unsure how accurate it is.

There's a new "Dolby Digital" logo up front, they slightly changed the location of the "Press Start" prompt, and some of the audio issues have been cleared up.

So If I manual update DR2 with this patch will the current crack work with it?

Idk what this patch does, i thought that it will keep blur setting from NOT saving, when i turn it on. It didn't. Still, a good game, glad i bought it.
No, we have no bears on the streets here in Russia.

Is there any word on fixing the wireless Xbox 360 controller issue? At least a "We're aware of the issue and currently working on it"?
Quote: | We're aware of the issues. There's discussions internally as to what, if anything, will be done about it.
Wireless controller support isn't part of the GFW TRCs (whereas wired is) which is why it was never tested in our dev process. Wired controllers do work perfectly and I'm sort of baffled why MS uses different protocols for wired/wireless when they're run by the same driver. |

Wow, that's a big fuck-you to pc gamers. Funny, I thought the issue was with the live being ripped out so was part of the reason(other being co-op) I bought the game. I'm wondering if this is stance on re-mapping controls as well.
Funny that the only thing then it seems they have actually worked on patching is making DLC compatible(ie making more money). Pretty damn sure I'm not going to be paying for DLC until they fix things. IMHO, The game was worth the purchase, but getting annoyed by lack of support and commitment to fix things that are obvious broken with their product.
