so dimmu released their black album, listened 3 times and wtf? what is this shit? the orchestral backing was decent - first track was awesome.. but im really quite disgusted with the whole album and honestly wasnt too pleased with in sorte either.. just the feeling, i hear satyricon in some songs, stupid beats in others i thought i would never hear on a db album.. is this a return to roots dunno, kinda sad imo...
What'd you expect, they haven't made a decent album since 2001 (or 1996 if you ask a trve black metal aficionado ).
i hear yah, but i figured with some new blood and plenty of time for composition and the full orchestra, which if i remember correctly silenoz said they would never do that again after death cult (difficulty with arrangements) and feedback on in sorte, this would be some fresh air.. kinda puts mustis and vortex place in the band into perspective as to how vital they were.. whatever, im a fanboy, been listening since 98 sbd blew my mind.. uhh nuff ranting

You should look into russian composers, european ones are usually too soft for my tastes as well.

(there was an AWESOME version of this on youtube but of course the sobs removed it, while this one's good too it isn't nearly as sharp as the other one was. Pity really)
