EA is set to bring its successful console-based war shooter Battlefield Bad Company 2 to Apple's iPhone and iPod touch this November.

This version includes 14 single-player missions through 5 different battle zones, including jungle, desert and winter locations. The game also includes an online multiplayer mode.

Pricing details were not announced.

Will probably lag so bad on my Ipod touch 2G like any other newest games that require +500mb of free space kinds reminds me of computer hardware..buy newest stuff or play on lowest settings..

The downside being; most iPhone games don't HAVE settings to lower... so those of us playing the "latest and greatest" on our humble 2nd generation iTouch devices are shit outta luck.

but i can play latest and greatest on my 3g and yeah they slow down a bit, but are playable. Razz

Um. 2nd Gen iTouch is the same as the 3rd Gen iPhone, silly It was the 3GS and the 3rd Gen iTouch that brought new hardware to the table. I can play games fine on my 2nd Gen... but it's not perfect. Case in point; SpykeZ's thread about Vampire Origins. To me, that's utterly unplayable. You may enjoy it but I sure as hell don't
