It's "English MULTI5" without a crack. The poster does not mention whether it's playable or not.

Heh, the Orcs of these islands are pretty superstitious and quite a bit dumb, laughed at several situations that arose in some of the conversations with some of them.

(The firsts guy is a bit intoxicated though it was a funny response still and the second image shows what they've done to the Myrtana/Nordmar Orcs whom are a bit more intelligent and stronger as per Gothic 3.)

These are related to a specific quest regarding a book and might contain light spoilers but nothing noteworthy, just a interesting item description and part of the dialogue with one NPC.

It works quite OK as a simpler action rpg though the easy combat mechanics hamper things a bit and limited magic abilities are another downside but it's good enough for a playtrough though it doesn't have much replay value since it is very linear and restrictive, especially the early chapters.

I'm finally out of the generic forest areas and heading trough the marshlands and onwards to the snowy mountains, it's nice of a bit artificial to see all these landscape changes, very few loading screens as well aside from longer distance travels or when it reloads after a cutscene.
(One for each "act" it would seem.)

http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/4756/arcania2010101211190323.jpg

(You can go back and forth as you want but if you're thorough you won't need to go back to the previous regions as there's nothing there aside from maybe vendors whom restock occasionally which helps with smithing and alchemy or just to have a basic supply of potions handy.)

We'll see how it develops from here, Steam version shows as released on their website now so that might be one way to crack it depending on protection used, it's probably going to be the same though and might take time to remove though one can only guess or speculate about for how long it'll take.
(It took a few months for SecuROM 7 to fall and then a while when it got updated but it will be cracked eventually as more and more games adopt to it.)

EDIT: Haha, things are actually a bit hectic with everything that's being released now, I've about 300 games to go trough and a lot of stuff I'd like to go trough on emulators.

I was hoping to dedicate myself to finish fully and thorough before next week as TW2 and Fallout Vegas will be released shortly then but there's a lot of other games as well I'm fooling around with.
(Had to restart Dead Rising as I accidentally killed a survivor, still not done with NWN2 as more fan-modules are waiting to be played trough, had to try Nehrim and finished it a short while ago and so on.)

Shocked
Are you trying to beat every single game that has come out in the past 40 years?! Shocked
As if you're 24/7 camping at the computer playing, always playing ... Shocked

True, it's down to individual preferences and I am rather tolerant but the game is simpler and I've tried to mention both good and bad points but I suppose it's on par on how the reviews see the game and parts of the Gothic fanbase as well.
(Some will of course hate the game and others will like it due to how accessible it is, game will probably do OK as it's multi-platform but it'll probably be a shorter sales spurt and then it'll be rather quiet, doesn't help that many other titles are released around now either I guess.)

It will be interesting to see what PB does with Risen as the successor to their Gothic franchise in Risen 2 and later on what Jowood does with Gothic, DLC seems likely for now though as the framework is there.
(From the unpacked demo data Config\DLC.xml and Marketplace menu information in the UI CFG files and some review copies had this enabled but non-functional.)

EDIT: I do try to play most anything that is released if it interests me and I prefer many different genres and in addition if I like the game I usually end up buying it, this does include a great number of indie games in addition to full retail titles though, mods for titles as well like NWN2's module system.
(Some will take upwards of 100 hours to go trough so I've been rather slow with it.)

I also try to finish the game even for sub-par titles that I'm not finding that enjoyable.
(So progress is slow but it's improving.)

As beckman said it has some new protection bullshit so i'm not wasting any time waiting for it. Just grabbing the 360 version since the game is prolly made for it anyway.
