That's because there is no cracking involved
In doubt whether I should play it on the xbox now or wait for my preordered pc version.
Maybe I'll play it as a demo, but I might not be able to stop.

I will always be this wa due to shipping of retail boxes. I worked at a GameStop briefly and Know for a fack that games that had a release date for a tuesday, we had in store the prevous Thusday. I only takes 1 person to grab a copy and rip it and post it.. My Manager at the time would take a copy home on the thursday and make copies for his Friends.

Interesting. Still kinda fucked up that your manager would make copies.

With the waiting bit i meant that in europe we gotta wait 3 days. Over here the stores get supplied on a friday instead of tuesday like in the usa.

Same method as the Mafia 2 Jimmy DLC basically, but this'll work much better as it's the same ESM/BSA format as the main game (Or F3/DLC), I plan to give the X360 disc the same treatment and use as a early preload once that's available.
(Should be close to identical aside from the launcher and exe stuff plus other PC/Windows specifics, saves time anyhow as the data will be there already.)

Unsure if BSA and ESM editing is possible but I doubt the later will work due to engine changes, BSA unpacking is probably quite doable however.

Well the four "-DLC XBOX360-XBLAplus" was behind most of it, rest was using utilities to break open the LIVE (XBox?) specific file format.

Most likely preorder specific "weapons/items" content.

Posted earlier but here it is.

(Don't misunderstand the content as such, you get entry level more unique armor and a weapon plus generic items that are of course available outside of the DLC, but this gives you a advantage.)

Some little more polish would be nice to see on some of it though, it's rather basic at times.

http://www.shacknews.com/screenshots.x?gallery=14937&game_id=7361#img158759

See those black blotchy shadow areas on the armor where the pauldrons would have been, texture related but wasn't updated at all and is thus no different from fan made mods like this for Fallout 3 in execution.

http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3505

EDIT: Some are a bit more worked on though like the light leather armor suit whereas others like certain weapons like the 40MM GL is basically just different in terms of stats.

The reason why I say this is fair game for upload is simply because it fights the publisher faggotry of locking certain content to certain vendors. Why should those who buy the game via Steam lose out on content compared to those that order from GameStop, and vice-versa?

I do not exactly like these pre-order incentives and for this sort of thing it seems to be OK as the Mafia 2 DLC and others are shared as long as it's not something larger or major, misc minor stuff seems OK whereas full addons like say Broken Steel like or something compared to Horse Armor or so it would seem, unsure though but I just try to help out and I don't like these divisions or what to call it.
(As Sabin and others commented on in Dead Rising 2 and Dead Space 2 cutting story stuff isn't very nice either and exclusive demos or other "beta" tests are annoying as well amongst other stuff, Bohemia does mini-expansions instead which is neat and also brings out basic DLC functionality freely so it can work, larger more major stuff like the F3 DLC also worked nicely.)

Very true sabin, it's a very tacky way of blocking out vendors who may not be as popular as Amazon and the others. Can't say I'm liking it very much either, so I have no moral issues with downloading these DLCs.

But the Fallout 3 DLCs however, those were truly worthy of a purchase for me, I like supporting devs when they put out good lasting quality content. This stuff, it's just cheap. :/

I presume those DLC pre-order packages via different vendors offer stuff that are accessible anyway through the game when having gotten into it a bit more deeply?

You get one weapon and one unique armor which while entry level is unique to the DLC, however you get a bundle of misc stuff like stimpacks, repair kits, binoculars, drugs and the like which as you say can be found elsewhere as well. Smile

EDIT: As has been discussed I will of course remove it if such a decision is made, same with the "ripped" patch data I've uploaded but it seems to be kept rather lenient for now with only really major content being a problem.
(Or so I've seen it so far.)

I doubt they'll lose sales or anything as you'd need the main game anyhow and such.

Can someone tell me how you miss in this game? In fallout 3 i found it impossible to miss, but newer PC shooting games, have some kind of semi auto aim, Medal Of Honer being a good example of this so you can't miss. Scratch Head
