True, Rockstar has been known to release games on the consoles, wait a few - 6 months and release it on PC......however the difference here is that Rockstar announced the games were coming to PC upon the console release.
We've heard nothing, and I doubt any more DLC is coming out....I also doubt they would start releasing DLC and STILL not mention a PC version IF one was in the works.

What games was that?
GTA4 wasn't anounced for a long time after the console release iirc.

Fail much? There is still DLC for RDR coming out...
And we won't hear anything about a PC version as long as they release DLCs.
They won't do anything about PC until they're done with DLC's. So my guess is after all the DLC's are out, they'll announce it for the PC with all the DLC's coming with it in the package. I guess.

This is what I guess too .
Now the only thing we need is that they stop releasing the damn DLCs
Undead Nightmare, the new DLC for RDR will get a retail release too and on the disc it will also include all previously released DLCs for the game. You don't need to own RDR to use this retail release as it's stand-alone.
Interesting, I believed Rockstar would do a GotY edition bundling the main game with all the DLCs, and that would be an excellent opportunity to release the game on the PC too.
But it seems like they aren't interested in releasing a GotY edition OR there's still a lot of upcoming DLCs to be released before a GotY edition would make sense.

I say PC version is coming late 2011 or early 2012. I believe there are 2-3 more DLCs coming up in 2011.
yeah, you also said that the Gothic 4 patch would be out any second upon release, and that Reloaded should have waited to release their version until they have the cracked patch....which STILL isn't out, even though you were convinced that the patch and crack would both be out within "an hour" and it has been DAYS.........
Your predictions blow.
oh yeah, and then critisized me for being happy we at least had the game to play for the meantime.....although NO patch produced by those guys will ever fix that game.

Oo since when are Scene-Groups reliable? How the fuck should I know that RLD are that retarded and were giving out their release 30 minutes before the patch came out. So how is that my fault? It would have been smart if they had waited.
You don't need to go apeshit on me because you're frustrated about that gothic4 is a shitfest. Enough people, including me, were stating this, because of the demo, days before the actual release.

You're angry about me being right? I mean, you've said it yourself there.

The only thing here that seems to blow, is the steam out of your ears.
All you accomplished by this selfownage is making a fool out of yourself. Congratulations
Ok then, any game BUT red dead revolver and midnight club LA?
Hehehe, just kidding.. did not knew those two.
Still, thats saying something... those two probably did not bring rockstar as much money as Red Dead Redemption. And i'd be damned if Rockstar does not try to capitalize on the PC market.
Piracy my ass, they still do make a shitload of money on PC. Even if pirated copies were sold in drug stores...
Can someone name ONE Rockstar game that came on consoles but not on PC? (handhelds aside)
Midnight Club: Los Angeles and Red Dead Revolver (RDR's "predecessor") were console-only.
Red Dead Revolver was IP that was bought/brought from another company (can't remember which), so Rock$tar didn't get to do what they really wanted to do with that one (which might be one reason that it didn't get the PC treatment).
Midnight Club: LA was proudly console drivel that catered to console gamers' attention span(s). Sure there would have been some awesome mods/skins/what have you, but all-in-all it wasn't that great of a racing game (for the arcade racing genre that is), so I understand why they wouldn't have released it on PC.
I think that one of the major reasons that most game studios don't want to say whether or not they are releasing a AAA title on PC & Console is that they are afraid that the PC market won't:
a. be around to buy said product/game
b. appreciate the game (spankwadding things like bad controls, shit textures, etc.)
c. buy the game for PC as consoles are cheaper to maintain.
Unfortunately, the video game console is probably going to take a bigger and bigger chunk of the market thanks to its/their huge market share. This is the future of gaming and, sadly, PC gaming in twenty years won't be nearly what it is today. Hopefully by then the home consoles will be powerful enough/good enough to allow us to use/configure any type of control that we want without issue (KB & mouse, joypad/control pad, flight stick, etc.).
But what the fuck do I know?
Hobo Zombie: TRAAAAAAAIIIINNNNNNSSSSSS
Woman Zombie: COMPLAAAAAAAIIIIIIINNNNNSSSSS
Englishmen Zombie: REFRAAAAAAAAAIIIIIINNNNNSSSSS
Thanks for the idea Lutz!

In 20 years you don't know if the PCs and consoles as you know them today, even exist.

As far as I'm concerned there is no future for PC gaming if it keeps going in the same direction it's going. All it's becoming is the same boring stupid FPS Console port that caters to the attention span of a goldfish and to help keep their attention they throw in pretty effects (physx) to make them oooooo and ahhhhh. Name the proper PC games we've had in the last couple years, yea..there really isn't that many.

Red Dead Revolver was a Capcom game that they canceled. It is a good fit for Rockstar though.

Well, for me "a couple" ~ 6 years.
So:
Hitman: Contracts (2004)
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (2004)
Far Cry (2004)
Half-Life 2 (2004)
World of Warcraft (2004)
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (2004)
Rome: Total War (2004)
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (2005)
Psychonauts (2005)
Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy (2005)
Civilization IV (2005)
Hitman: Blood Money (2006)
Condemned: Criminal Origins (2006)
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth (2006)
Company of Heroes (2006)
Portal (2007)
The Witcher (2007)
World in Conflict (2007)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl (2007)
Left 4 Dead (2008)
And these are the ones just from the top of my head. It's not all that bad, we just forget stuff.

but yeah if he only counted pc only games in 2010 ,only from the fps/tpd side you get only 7 titles (not counting 85 adventures and sometish rts ... and other genres then you would get like 200ish games for PC alone made in 2010 LULZ yeah right PC gaming is dead LULZ)
ArmA II

The Scourge Project
2025: Battle for Fatherland

Lol, I'm sure he means games that have a PC version and are worthy to be played. Where they appeared first or what was the lead platform doesn't mean much.
