No idea, seems obvious to me, just haven't bothered since I figured JB would already be on the case.

because most games/movies are made in the US and they (of course) wanna have first dibs at about everything. |
I find that hard to believe, since the publishers could make more money by releasing the game earlier.
It's like they think they have an unbreakable copy protection. Why else would they refrain from competing with the pirates? |
No, this is a matter of games almost always being released on tuesdays in the US and fridays in the EU, which is regulated by I don't-know-what. Supposedly it's related to making logistics easier, and in the EU case to boost the weekend sales ratings. At any rate it's unrelated to the wishes of the developer or publisher.

I thought about it and it will likely work to combine data like that (Somewhat, you'll have the X360 UI and you need the shader data files from Fallout 3 as you can't use the Xbox shaders.) but why bother with it now with the decryption key only hours away, plus what I wrote about the PC and console size differences back then along with the DLC data.
(Will come in handy again for this "exclusive" thing.)

I'm going to try that - sounds crazy and I doubt it'll work, but anyway...
Isn't the exe supposed to have some kind of protection?

There is no such country, it was an error and it has been corrected.

Less than a day, can't wait to see if this is any good. Looking forward to it, even if FO3 had a lot of problems I enjoyed it.

I still haven't gotten a single idea what the whole fuss about endianess is all about (i know what it is but I don't get why one system/OS uses one and another uses the other.

@Vivallianen
I see what you did there but hell you will. If they are still as crappy as in F3 you would notice them sucking from three rooms away :/

Well, there are many RPGs that don't allow you to pick dialogue choices

The Bethblog has info on NA stores that will be opening at midnight for F:NV and global digital unlock times:
If you’re looking for a physical copy, Best Buy and GameStop are both opening stores early to accommodate midnight playtime. For a list of all Best Buy midnight openings, check the handy pop-up on this page. If you’re looking to hit up a GameStop when the clock strikes, call your local store to make sure they’re participating.
As for the digital realm, all copies of New Vegas purchased through stores like Steam, GameStop Digital and Direct2Drive will unlock for players in North/Central/South America at 12:01am PST/3:01am EST tomorrow morning. All other territories will see their copies unlock at 12:01 GMT on October 22nd.
3 am est means 8 am gmt i think...so no rlease by then i guess
