Back when I used to play on an Israeli server, they had a tool that took random screenshots of player's views so that the admins can look what's going on. Why doesn't it happen with all games and servers? Laughing

Well what's the problem with implementing this in VAC? There are multitude of methods to grab a screenshot, and it can be resized and compressed to so little that it won't be felt in today's bandwidths. That's just lazy. But hey, have fun throwing cash on that crap.

The new method is an external hook via AERO of all things Laughing Completely undetectable AND invisible. You can even take a screenshot of your game and not see any hack visible since it sets up its own overlay.

There are plenty of methods to take screenshots of what is rendered, including direct DirectX hooking, which you cannot hide from. AERO is shut down in fullscreen gaming anyway, so. Wink

Yes, but AERO is done through DirectX also, so you'll get caught. And also, if AERO is active, it has its own thumbnailing API, so owning a cheater though that is very easy. Very Happy

I'm not saying it is possible to stop cheating completely. But at least make an effort. It's the same for stealing shit also. If someone REALLY wants to steal your TV, he will do it no matter how much you lock your door. But you wouldn't leave the door wide open either, would you?

Oh I don't disagree, I wish cheating would be abolished and I was absolutely stunned when Treyarch backpeddled over the PB thing and announced it would be, again, using VAC2. VAC2 is pathetic and no matter what nice ideas there are to defend against hacks, VAC2 just doesn't detect a great majority of them - including, for now with current anti-cheat implementations and methods, the COMPLETELY undetectable Aero-hook.

Hardline Pro- bullets do extra damage to aircrafts and turrets. Reduced flinch when you are shot.

I doubt there's much to see anyway. The engine is basically the same, so the only thing that will differ from the previous games is the content itself, which is the same for all versions for the most part.
We already know there will be dedicated servers, so no need for footage for that... don't know what else is there.
