meh could use some help...got major sound delays...I cant hear a thign except some ground sounds ( water etc. ) and if I press escape all the sounds start popping out ( all the guns I fired ppl talked, footsteps sound ). There is a fix ( setting the cpu usage to high ) but then I get movement delays ( I press forward for 2 secs then he starts going forward for 10 ). Didnt have this problem with fallout 3, at all.

Hey mate, does this command carry over into other cells or do I have to enter it constantly?

It carries over, from what I've seen. You'll need to use it again if you exit the game though.

Played a bit, and it's great so far. The only bug I ran into so far was a Powder ganger stuck in the scenery, but that's about it.
At first I was like WTF about the karma system, then I realized, that it doesn't keep track of my karma, but actually adjusting my reputation with the faction I'm stealing from (a bit of update on this would be most welcome, like displaying the item's owner before picking it up, labeling the message "Reputation with XY-faction decreades, etc). So I was more than happy to loot the shit out of the NCRCF, since I couldn't care less about the convicts hating me. Plus I had thier clothes on, so I could stealth kill all of them one by one (although stealth is broken quite a bit, since even if I stealth-critical-one-hit-kill anyone with a knife (i.e. SILENT weapon) when nobody could ever see me, everyone instantly knows that one of their guys died and start looking for me).

"Normal" seems too easy, I'd call it "very easy" mode myself. Clearing out Primm was piss easy really. I'll try hard now.

GMST (Gamesetting.) or a Global probably, might tie in further to scripts and overhead quests for tracking said data.
EDIT: Found Hover Dam and a ranger located nearby, ranger had a "accident" but just as with the palace guard from Oblivion the armor couldn't be taken, I'll have that sorted shortly though.
(Not the coat thing with gasmask from the main menu though, still looking for that thing, models and textures are all there.)

@moosenoodles
Have you ever installed a mod for F3? Same deal. Drop 'em into the data folder, check them in the data files section in the launcher. Done

I figured it was pretty self explanatory for anyone who has played Oblivion or FO3, lol. Extract the files (ESM/BSA/NAM) to the "GameDir\Data" folder and then select "data files" in the launcher and then tick the boxes =) |
No its not a dig at you for your lack of concern for others ...
Anyhow its for a general "good practice" thing, not everyone can remember what they did mod wise if not done it a while ago etc, i know there is the google etc, but same time its always good to accompany files with a readme if its for mods or likewise
Oh and thanks for the clarification..

Go with Very Hard, imo. Fun challenge.

just tried New Vegas, just at beginning of course. But as for I can see, no stuttering at all, mouse movement very smooth and no crash, sounds still OK. I am using Windows 7 64bit and Nvidia drivers 260.89, 1440x900 resolution, all settings on High except reflections on Medium and all is OK up to now (of course, bad surprises may arrive soon)

Dam, this is the first game to stutter on my system, coupled with mouse input lag makes the game almost unplayable. Not sure if i feel sorry though, the game looks dated but most important it just isnt as exciting as fallout3 was.
