I actually had the game crash on me yesterday.
I was in some small house and went to the door and the second I used it I lost the signal from the console.
Fortunately I didn't lose much progress. I sure hope I don't get that DLC error... that'd really suck.

someone who had the problem didn't play with DLC. it still said it was missing some DLC.
seems it was the first one who reported the issue here.

Yar, dat was me. Affected almost all my saves retroactively too. Found a couple I could load, but the autosave and any near it were pooched. I got off lucky though compared to ienni. I only had about 10 or 15 hours in, and was able to run through the content I had done previously so I made it back to my last position pretty quick.
Looking at the PC section, this bug hits them too. A lot of people on the Fallout forums are going nuts over losing saves entirely. Some are able to recover them from backups the game makes, others not.
Anyway, if it happens again, considering where I am now, I will personally take this disc and embed the fucker right into the skull of the Exec. Producer.
Despite that, I fucking love this game. All the other bug aside, it's really really fun and a huge improvement in every aspect over F3. Haven't beaten it yet with my first character, and I think I'm going to start fresh with a new one since I really messed up with this one. You cannot expect to max skills like you could in F3 and max agil really isn't an I Win stat anymore.

Quest by a campfire on a trail lol stuck on first quest no shit where can i find the other flower xander root i did search all around the bit where it said it should be

Can you not just transfer them over via xplorer? or USB?
I'll be just opening up my HDD with xplorer360, then clicking to open the cache folder then inserting the update.

I think you could format a usb flashdrive or external hdd with the xbox, and then put the title updates on there in the Cache folder. You had to keep the flashdrive connected at all times though for it to keep working.

use program called Xtaf to copy updates to cache folder on 360 used usb stick.
It works. Just try update on game which You can see changes like... Bioshock.
Normally there is no music in main menu. But with update there is a menu music.
But USB STICK have too be in xbox all the time. If You will pull it out while playing a game ... THE GAME will crash. (which is also a good way too check if update was applied)
To get game media ID just check a game with abgx and write the numer down.

It it worth giving Boone the unique Gobi Campaign sniper rifle? Or should I use it myself (i AM investing into PE and sniping perks)?

Did you find a fix for this as its just happened to me and I'm 60hrs in and level 30

So there's still no fix for the save bug? I want to buy this tomorrow as it is lowpriced atm, but with the chance of getting corrupted saves...

bump..
any news on fix? only two occasions about 6hrs in did i have a freeze (in game, same locale) just fast traveled my way out of it... now at 46hrs dummy me was a couple radaway short walking out of V34 overcumbered with full on rad poisoning and instead of just draining my health gradually (never played any of the fallout series) i just collapse... lol, every EVERY save corrupted now. no dlc error, just a freeze on load, hard shutdown yadayada
i see the title updates mentioned above at xboxmodder, i assume the -marvel rls was mID "6470401C" and its there, has anybody checked that out.. i dont have a fucking usb stick to try it.
