ICC is the best essential companion mod. I used the one Sabin linked, but it only made some of them essential when playing hardcore.

That perk is indeed awesome.
And yeah, Boone is a beast. Until he does something stupid and gets owned. Haven't tried the other companions yet.
I'm having a blast so far, more fun than FO3 for me. Exploring is pretty awesome, they did a good job with that.

I agree locke, Exploring is much more fun. I think this is due to side quests and towns not being a 20 minute walk away from DC. In FO3, after you left megaton, the main quest was like...ok go get lost in subways and get to the radio station...OOOORR..go the complete opposite direction and have some fun. This one seems to combine this and has kept me extremely happy

Ok will give it another try,..
I have dx9dll file,.. where do I place it,.. ? lol I cannot find it in steamapp,..

ok I put it in the main folder and seems when I launch it it,.. actually reconfigs,..
I think it works ? went from like really 7 fps moments to 50+

Reinstalled the game and it still crashes when i try to use archimedes II through eulids-c..Got only patch 1+hotfix :\
Well, guess i'm not lucky

I've been getting a lot of fast travel bugs
When I returned to nipton
 Spoiler: | Oliver was seen running off again. Even though I'd already slaughtered him and cleared the town. Since I spawned in the city and he's at the gate, and runs fast, I could only get a shot of him through my binoculars |
When I fast traveled back to the legion raid camp

The 3 legion guys were back and so were the 2 powder gangers. Killed the legion, can't interact with the 2 powder gangers. I'd previously freed them |

Has anyone had an issue getting npcs to bid bet in caravan ?
Every NPC I that is able to play, does not bet/raise a single cap :/

When the NPCs wig out like that, i've had alot of luck just swift travelling into a town or something that forces new level load, then going back and they're doing what they should be, just an idea to try out
Yes, I havn't found a single NPC that has any money in caravan...My only option is to place a whatever bet..then stare at them..then play

I'm using the one Sabin linked to also, but reading your reply I should switch over to the ICC..

even after the 2 updates, there are still serious bugs in the game like AI floating in mid air and some creatures like Geckos will walk through rocks and get stuck in them when approaching me.

So what's the reward for completing the game on hardcore mode?
Don't want specifics just something general ie awesome gun for a replay different ending.

How can one alter the load order of the esm files without a mod manager? i see that fook is pretty critical of it and yet they just seems to tell u just dont use anyother mods, blegh seems rough..

| Spoiler: | There are 3 or 4 different bunkers. One is the correct one and as far as I remember it doesn't need lockpick. I may remember wrong however. THe first time you get in the right one they arrest you. |

If you're having problems with your companions running off and attacking shit, it's because you're charisma is too high.
Charisma increases their whatever it's called and makes them aggro stuff far away on passive.
If you lower it, they'll hide in combat and stuff like that instead of charging straight in.

I have gotten the second one at the legion camp.
Another one I get all the time...when I fast travel my player won't do anything but act like he's fighting somebody with his fists.

I remember there was mod for F3 that was changeing gameplay into something very close to real turn base like in F2.

i encountered this bug: I head into the Gomorrah Casino in Vegas and got stuck to the floor. the HUD is missing. no clipping cheat doesn't work.

Finished the game...
Yeah, i rushed it and all, still, even fallout 3 story made more sense. I decided to be a total egoist derp and killed everyone, stood alone, still i got good words in the ending.
Btw, speech of 100% can be VERY useful lategame.
