This man has my respect, for both the work he's doing with Wikileaks, bringing the truth back to the public domain, and for his integrity as a human being!
Its a shame how the country which claims it has free press uses it as a propaganda tool.
Most US articles go like "wikileaks under fire" "wikileaks condemned" "Wikileaks members start to fued about the future"
Lets ignore the THOUSANDS of real dramas of humanity brought to light, the flagrant and undoubtdul lies the US gov still continues to repeat.
He has the full smackpower of the CIA NSA and any other US organisation against him who no doubt try everything to discredit him, and the "free press" aka CNN will help to focus on that instead of the true facts brought up.
Notice how the reporter has white, plain, florescent lights behind her and Assange has red, evil, vibrant lights behind him. Subliminal messages in lighting.
Thought that was a pretty blatant trick on their part, too.

Do you still have any doubts that the major news channels on the U.S air news under political influence and interests?
There are countless examples, but you don't need to go further than 9/11 when roughly 30 minutes after the 2nd plane collided with the WTC, they started to lay the blame onto Bin Laden, when there was absolutely no evidence or revindication at the time, the supposedely hijackers hadn't even been mentioned, and Bin Laden was already the one to blame, this is just one example among many on how CNN and similar channels air news according to political pressure!

15 mins ago that comment had 53 thumbs up, now it got "unstickied"
I don't think he should have walked because that goes against the very principle that wikileaks is supposed to represent. No matter how ridiculous the accusations or what the agenda of the accusers, he should atleast have adressed the allegations.

And what exactly does a private matter has anything to do with Wikileaks or indeed the leaked documents, which is probably the reason he was invited for the interview anyway? Had he been invited to a personal interview and then stormed out because it is inconvenient to him, that's one thing, but walking away after warning that retard numerous times he does not wish to speak about himself in the interview, that's quite another.

You're right, it's got nothing to do with the wikileaks documents. But ad hominem is a fairly common tactic and he should know how to play the game if he's going to the big league. Now he's just played into the hands of those trying to discredit him by portraying him as an arrogant and autocratic person.
its better than giving them a 1min clip where they talk about rape that will be replayed over and over on the US media, repeat the lie enough and people will believe it, and once its proven he isnt guilty you can be sure CNN and co wont be repeating that story as much.

There's an expression in Bulgarian, not sure how it is exactly in English, but "the convinced trying to convince among themselves". The republitards and O'Reily and Beck are already convinced, so convincing themselves is unimportant.
