THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST GAMES I HAVE HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF KNOWING OF IT'S EXISTENCE.
It's the shortest expansion pack I have ever seen. Is this a joke? I think the expansion pack for the first game was longer than this. It definitely had the same number of levels.
The story is so short it could be told in one episode of the Clone Wars. In fact, this deserves to be on that show, because it certainly isn't worth $60. Or $10.
Not only that, the game is awful. It's a pain to play, wave after wave of enemies and button mashing. Power-ups are totally pointless for a game only 20% longer than Star Fox 64.
And even though most of this game has the greatest graphics I have ever seen in a videogame, the graphical glitches are horrendous. There are various times when the skybox disappeared, animations were missing, and just plain old bad stuff.
I always thought you were supposed to build upon previous generations, not have the best of his gen (shaders) and the worst of the PS1/N64 gen (craftmanship).
Heck, I don't remember Super Mario 64 having a skybox that popped in and out in random shots.
Also, the music is completely recycled from the first game, I did not hear anything new in this game at all. It was all just tracks from TFU1's OST and the OST of the movies cut and mixed together. At least the Clone Wars has it's own original score, no matter how bad the music is.

You can test this game for 4 -5 hours that wouldnt be a waste....also if you remove it within 24 hours from your pc you didnt do anything wrong. So in fact you can legally play this game for free and you don't need to buy it for 60 dollars/euros. Reading those reviews i am not planning to buy this game for my ps3 console.

Republic commando whas a really nice game.....and i hope to see a second one so you know what happend to sev or whatever that commandos name whas. I know you can read the books but i want a gameplay for that.

In our country we can pirate stuff for own use (The Netherlands). In other countries they say you can test it within 24 hours...after that you need to remove it.
That piracy is ok in your country is not written here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_copyright_law and you've got to be more specific on which are these countries that allow you to pirate for up to 24h?

That only applies to movies and audio CDs and only when making a copy yourself. Downloading games is illegal.

Dude, it's Star Wars! My rating just based on the intro sequence is 8 out of 10 and the initial opening sequence game play 9 out of 10.
If it was the Wii version then I would score it less by 50% (4 for intro, 4.5 for game play!). PS3 version, would get a notch higher than Xbox 360, purely based on the fact that the graphics are smoother and sharper for the PS3 (8.5 for intro, 9.5 for gameplay).
As for the bosses, I can't comment but I'm sure they are like all other bosses... first few are easier to kill, then they get get progressively harder to kill.

Yep, according to Fraps counter, the game is locked to 30 frames per seconds, and i've used the graphics menu only to set everything maxed out and not fullscreen.
