Would something like this ever work? "Press X repeatedly to hold the soap"?

Yeah but then you'd be forever stuck with the 'Bitch' trait, along with the massive reputation hit. Would be impossible to join any of the powerful gangs as a full member.

Same reason as with Lara Croft (To answer that question as well.) it'll stay console exclusive for a while yet and then it'll be released on PC as well.

The high level frustration and repetivity are the only imperfections of this game, so probably I'm going to enjoy it Razz

Had them on pre-order, currently download, Deathspank is about 1.1 GB with Shank at 2.1 GB, Shank uses some activation method but Deathspank seems to use only Steam.

I'll post some images and other info once it's fully downloaded.
(Civ IV also updated with a new DLC, Worms Reloaded and Front Mission were both patched.)

EDIT:

Not a easy game even if gameplay is rather simple, basically a somewhat more violent platformer with a darker themed story, not that many options either but supports most aspect ratio configurations.

Multiplayer Campaign exists but when you begin it you see a screen where it waits for people to join, to join however requires pressing the OK on the gamepad or keyboard however so it seems to be only local mode.

http://news.bigdownload.com/2010/10/26/interview-we-chat-with-klei-entertainments-ceo-on-the-pc-port/#continued

Interesting parts:

Quote:
For the PC version was there any adjustments made for the game's graphics for higher resolutions?

Our art was painted for 1280x720, so that's the native resolution.

How hard was it to get the game to work on the mouse and keyboard controller set-up?

Oh, that was definitely a challenge. We went through probably 5 different configurations before landing on one that we were comfortable with. We also left the option for people to customize it the way they want. Honestly, it's fun on a keyboard, but I'd recommend playing the game with a controller if you have one.

What other PC additions and adjustments have been made to Shank?

We left it pretty much the same -- some small tweaks to the tuning of the enemies were put in, and we integrated it with Steam so players have Steam trophies and saving on the Steam Cloud.

Any plans for a sequel to Shank?

Interestingly, I've been asked this a lot lately. To us, we'd only do it if we felt a sequel would really enhance the experience -- it would have to make sense creatively.

Finally is there anything else you wish to say about bringing Shank to the PC?

I have to say, we haven't launched a PC game since Eets, and I really missed it. It's great to be back.

They support a aspect ratio of up to 600x300 something, never seen that in any other game, has to count for something, not much else in terms of GFX as it's a 2D sidescrolling platformer/shooter so it's not a huge concern, VSync and normal resolution can be set as well plus control configuration though the default is quite OK.

EDIT: And a few shader enhancements.
