Awesome.

We do need an official one tho. It'd be a good addition. We still have a Divx section....I can't remember the last time I watched a Divx movie

Its out on bluray in France.

and i had the HDTV rip at one time, but it was impossible to sync any subtitle to it, which is important for friends and family members , bluray has english included which means translations will come of that asap.

Well what do you know, the Bluray has worse quality than the HDTV release... Mad CHD release is out, and quality is hideous. Crying or Very sad

To me it looks like it's a bad DVD upscale, with no effort put into even resizing properly. Laughing

I had the original PAL DVD to rip, and trust me the bluray is a serious upgrade, even if its far from perfect.

But really, the 720p HDTV version, or even better, the original 1080i TS, if you can find them, are much better.

I need to free space. HDB has a 192GB torrent of all the BD50s but I don't have so much space left now. Laughing Also, would rather get from Usenet, because it will destroy my ratio there.

Well I will be stripping them of content, and including it on the best encodes, and encode all the extras not found "out there". But all that will require time and space. Wink
Resurrection will probably not stay at all. Laughing

Maybe I can find some BD throwaway torrents tracker, get them quick and don't care about ratio... Laughing
If not, I will just wait for them to be uploaded on Usenet or HDB to start their Christmass freeleech.

By the time they reach the renting stage here, they will already be out on wherever. And also, BD drives are still expensive here, and I am no sure I even want one (haven't had any "DVD" drives in years).

Ok guys this has been bugging me for a long time now but why is it that some of the 720p x264 releases have only stereo audio?? Like I know supernatural is 5.1 but when dimension pre'd their release of it, it had only stereo sound (Supernatural S06E03). Same goes for blue bloods and hawaii 5-o which are both dimension encodes and have only stereo sound. Are they "stereo" only in the broadcast or what??

1 and 2 are still amazing.

I guess it depends on the channel and receiving method the capper has available. Some record from Canadian channels, others direct from US, others from UK channels, and each may broadcast in a different manner (cable, satellite, etc).
Anyway, you should be getting Web-DL releases anyway.

Is Web-DL some new encode format? I've seen a few of them but none of the trackers I'm on do regular releases with them. Any open tracker or forum with them?

No, WEB-DL are releases that have been bought from iTunes, etc, so no channel logos or broadcasting quirks and problems, and most importantly, video and audio quality is in most cases superior to regular 720p encodes.

Nope. In an interview Cameron did for the new Alien bluray set, he said that currently a bluray is not being worked on. Sad
