So in order to make it more fluent, they removed those "hardcore nerdy" menus and made it look so your character's has blackout moments where he goes into his special place to change gear => a M. Night Shyamalan twist, more precisely: SPOILER ALERT! the protagonist is fucking insane!
There are no green/blue/red/yellow orbs, there are only chickens.
Never the less I'll try it out tomorrow after I finish Arcania, hopefully I'll have some free time.
P.S. I can see why B&W had those menus, you where a god after all.

That'd be a good ending, actually - you're the king and everyone loves you and yada yada, and then it shifts to padded cell in an insane asylum. Your character's sitting in the corner wearing a straitjacket, drooling and smiling with a blank stare in his eyes.
He means it doesn't start. But it's not a set rule...it works for some people.
It's not working for me either. I can install it fine but it can't start. It says the disc is unreadable.
There have been reports of this happening on the latest official dashboard and on betas too (while it does work for someone even on beta dashboards, 12603, 12606)
There were reports that it "didn't start the first time, but it did the second", "It didn't start, then waited half an hour with the disc in the tray and then it worked", "I burned a copy (MARVEL) and it didn't work, then i deleted the .dvd file and let abgx360 create it, burned and now it works" (which is obviously not a fix since there is nothing wrong with the original .dvd file). It's not limited to LT nor the old ixtreme either.
Just plain old luck for now, and it's happening on both the p2p and MARVEL release.
The only comment with some value came from a guy (Shadow LAG...halo 2 beta leaker, forza 2 dev-something leaker?) who said this,
"Another thing I might note here is I cannot recreate an xex from the PE using the SDK which is what the developers themselves use to create these games, and I also might add that it causes a kernel panic on my development kit when ran from hard drive but when ran from network it spits a disc read error and when the two behave differently this is due to xex hooks."
So I guess there's something wrong with the game? And why the hell is the PE filename "Fable2_xfr.exe" ...
And that about covers 30 pages of 360iso's panic topic
lulz yeah read those... people like chickens panicking about some blocking thingie in beta update that adds 'game can be run only on specific date blah blah blah' nice figment of imagination BS ... the only ONE game that had this UDF 1.5 feature was The Beatles: Rock Band "Black Screen" , but it backfired SO bad and it WAS SO easily fooled they didn't add this in any other game...HDD install and change the date ...much crying over spilled milk
Anyone got an idea what the gnome's you're meant to find look like? Or are they gargoyles like Fable 2? i.e when you're near one, they slag you off etc..
I've done the mini quest with the gnome fella btw..

It would, imo, be the best Fable ending!

Chickens O.o, WTF
Chickenchaser(Fable1), he's basically your characters grand-grand grandpa(Fable 2/3). And also because chickens are a part of Fable.

Yeah they insult you again. They look a bit different, but are also up in corners and on walls and you have to shoot them.
There's a title update available already.
I checked out the files a bit from this Fable "2.5" patch
Changes seem to be in files of other languages mostly
Can't get into it at all :/ , Nothing seems to grab me
Got the dwellers on my side , one thing that really strikes me is Its far too easy ( Infinite magic :S ) . Maybe because I'm near the start but I can't think of taking many if any hits in combat yet .
Roll - Flourish - melee - repeat

but you know what Chinese whispers are like; some newbie will read your comment and suddenly run and spread it all over the internet that the new 2010 Banwave disables all your XBLA games when you're banned.
Im trying to figure out how to import my data from F2.. Do you just need to finish the core Fable II or both expansions as well for it to import?? Because I have the save files and knothole island, but Fable III doesnt seem to be recognizing that I beat the 2nd one... Am I missing something here?

What are you planning to import if the protagonist in F3 is the child of your F2 character who is long dead...?

F3 imports the last finished F2 savegame automatically, you cannot choose for some reason. Not sure if it incorporates the addons at all.

Just out of curiosity, how exactly did you open and examine the patch file? I often wonder what the actual title updates change, so a tool like that would be quite handy.
