I'd say the matrix infinity. But be aware, there are many fake/clone chips of the matrix infinity and you'll encounter many problems if you have one, so be cautious before installing the chip.

What about the dms4 pro with the toxicOS flash? You're able to play gt4 off the hd with it, seems pretty sweet imo.

Id say both are tip top modchips, but ive had a 100% success rate with the ghost2 and ive never had that with any chip for that console. That swings it for me. It also is meant to be more stable compared to the matrix and is close to a year newer. Both are very good though im not knocking the Matrix. Id agree with the DMS4 though, thats probably the best. Seems to have a far more lively scene with that mod at the moment. Speaking of which...
Are you sure you u can play gt4 from hdd?, i heard it didnt work even with that bios. If so how is it done?

Yes you can, the new toxicOS 0.3(came out a week ago) automatically patches gt4 on the fly, either from hd or burnt dual layer media, and allows you to play it.
More info about it here http://web02063.prolocation.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7138 check the 5th and 6th post.

Nice one! cheers mate. Well that puts the DMS4 pro a step ahead then, looks like its the daddy of the ps2 modchip scene.
