When I run Starforce Nightmare and hit disable cd option I see it processing and then it shuts down before disabling the cd . Anyone have this problem? I'm using Windows 2000

Thanks

Thats what mine does, Windows 2000 ... nforce 2

Guys read the manual. It says that SF Nightmare doesn't work on windows2000 and below. So, time to migrate to XP or server2003

Thanks wazzaap19, but from what I saw....

3. System requirements
This tool is designed for using under Windows XP-Windows 2003 Server (Beta support for Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows 98 and Windows 95)

I was hoping It would work even though it is only beta support.

The game is pretty fun so far exept for the controls..camera angles sucks at some points and you can only move with arrows/WASD...the mouse is only to look around with camera view and not to turn around. What do you expect from a console port Sad and the fact that you cant save when you want and you need to guess when the game made a save is really annoying..sometimes you end up doing the whole level again Evil or Very Mad

This game is a total ripoff of Psi-OPS with a different but quite similar story. like you were in the army, loose your memory and more you go into the game more psychic powers you gain...but playing a SF3 game without having to pay for it's good for me Twisted Evil

Here's a funny screenshot...you'll need a fuckin big holster for a gun that size Very Happy

I DONE IT!!!

Basically i wanted to keep windows 2000 because its all setup for me , but i didnt want to risk everything just on a stupid fucking protection formatting and it still not working. So basically i made Two partitions one as normal windows2000 and the other for XP, i only gave xp something like 10GB.

From then on i put the xp on the other partition and made it dual boot Windows2000 for normal everything, and XP for hard up protected Games or intensive games as my xp os will have hardly ANYTHING on it that most people will have to have.

Now i loaded Xp and put the starforce game on that partition, used as per the instructions and because i wont have alc on it thats one problem out the way , daemon tools has different named bus's come on securom give me your best shot aswell.

I then used starforce nightmare, and because i dont need any of the drives as xp will be totaly bare i can leave starforce nightmare settings perm on, totaly disabled CD,NODE,CH2 never having to be touched again.

Wolla Starforce game fires up first time
