So I'm cruisin' around on Guild Wars, when some dude comes up and invites me to a group. I'm like ok cool, why not.
So we're cruisin' through. We're chatting a bit, but mostly about the game. 45 minutes later he starts to get into some personal detail.. Eventually it comes out that he's from Sweden, I'm like alright Sweden is cool...
Then he tells me he's 11 years old. 
Me, being 27, all of a sudden I feel a bit uncomfortable. Do I keep playing or do I make something up all of a sudden that I have to go?
What do you guys do? Gotta' be honest, it felt a bit strange to be playing with him after that came out, but before that, it was totally fine...
Wat do?

Whenever that happens to me.. I try to do the same as Kenny, but for some reason they start trying to talk to me about women or something or creep me out with questions like, "So does it feel weird when you touch your thing? I'm just asking questions here...."

this again
i mean what the fuck ? at 11 i wouldnt i'd out doing shit with my friends , playing soccer , terrorizing people , etc
like a friend of mine told be , he overheard two kids (probably close to 11) saying how much they can't wait to play soccer later that day , he rememberd the good old days when he was doing that , until one of them said "will you do the match or will i?"

I can't imagine any force in this world that would me make play an MMORPG, ffs. actually @31 it becomes more and more difficult to play games - as soon as I pick up the controller I start thinking about that nice new book on my Sony Reader or that new movie on teh HD player. but MMOs? jesus even if I end up w/o legs after an accident I'll never ever touch that shit.

Why? Seriously WHY is it wrong for an adult to play MMO? I started to play World of Warcraft at age of 15 and still play it now (I'm 21). I have been in the guild with few people in the 40's, there was even guy in his mid 50's. Why does internet+game have to be for kids+teens only? |

here's MMO shit analyzed in three paragraphs:
PvE: it's fun for like what? the number of hours you need to get a feel of the game's universe, check out the locations, the monsters and gfet fed up with grinding. That's like 20-30 hours max. After that a NORMAL person uninstalls the p.o.s.
PvE with party: now that's the sickest shit. Why people get together online, set up a teamspeak/ventrilo/whatever server and play as a party? Because they can't communicate normally in rl OR they suck so much on the social level (job, money, girls etc) that they can feel AT EASE only when they're inside that lvl80 3D model of a paladin. Why is the party needed? To feel IMPORTANT. You healed all those jerks while they were fucking a boss? Thank you, John, Mark or whatever you're called! You're so AWESOME. You're nothing in rl, a tech support guy that no one even looks at, but in the game you're a freaking general! That is so sick that it makes me cry. For one reason or another I've seen DOZENS of WoW player and not a single one of them was both an avid player AND a successful person in rl. One thing replaces the other. If you have friends, if you're a great guy, if you're funny and intelligent - WHY JESUS WHY would you need WoW?! Or EVE. Or Guild Wars? MMOs are for freaks.
PvP: that's the most normal part of this whole shit. it's like chess or something. still sick but it's ok
