Ah well, sod knows where it came from... but meh - at least I have it Laughing Today's slasher price is on the DoW series;

Dawn of War II Gold Edition (DoW II + Chaos Rising): €14.99
Dawn of War Platinum Edition (DoW I + Dark Crusade): €4.99
Dawn of War Soulstorm: €4.99

To be honest, they should have put Soulstorm in with the Platinum pack.. Sad

Bad Company 2 for less than 9€ / 10$ its quite interesenting, but im afraid that the new COD kill its multiplayer...

Is there a way to trick EA Store that you're from a different country ? Unfortunately prices in Poland are much higher than this.

Mass Effect 1 6,95 €
Mass Effect 2 11,45 €
Mass Effect 2 Deluxe 15,95 €
Bad Company 2 22,45 €
Dead Space 8,95 €

Battlefield is like 60% more! Well already have that, but not nice as we're both paying in euros.

God I hate EA, they're yet another site that assumes that because your computer is in Korea, you must want their site in Korean, with no way to change it. At least other sites have a little menu you can usually click on to change the language, but on EAs page the language spot is just text reminding you what you're reading, not a place where you can toggle it.

THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!!

I've got a ton of games on my EA account but it's a fucking PITA to access because the ignorant bastards lock the entire site, and my account, into Norsk since I have a Norwegian IP.

As I told before, stick to Steam offers ONLY. If you want EA offers create a seperate thread.

There is some kind of problem right now. I can log into Steam, but can't see my account history. And the sale is worldwide, I think. I bought Overlord and Frontlines.

From what I played of GB, I really enjoyed it... shame it's a quad-loving game as it ran like boiled ass for me on my humble dualie Sad

On a quad it runs sublimely. Even shitty low-end quads.. my brother has an old Phenom 1 (yes, you read that correctly) 9450E at 1.8Ghz and Ghostbusters is a smooth dream on his comp, while it's a stuttering unplayable mess on my 3.6Ghz E7200.

No need for the inb4 shit Very Happy, I can tell you we have same systems Sabin and Ghostbusters was all good here, you just had to fuck about with vsync and make sure u run the low box filter on the AA options for card.. It was also critical to overclock's btw Smile and getting that in a happy place for it was another key point..

THEN you played it like you would any other game Very Happy Flawlessly :O

Yeah... so turning on vsync and AA made it run BETTER? Whatever Razz Oh and I heard about the game being "supposedly" sensitive to OCing, so I tried it with AND without any OCing on my chip -- it still stuttered and ran like ass with low framerates. I've seen this happen on at least four machines with dual core processors, yet also saw it running smooth as butter on a quad.

I believe my own experience ... but hey, this is the PC Gaming Section and apparently everything runs flawlessly for everyone but me, right?

-edit-

HardOCP

And that was with a QX9770 @ 3.66Ghz. I was barely getting HALF that performance, unless staring at a wall, on my poor rig. You ran it flawlessly? Awesome, good for you mate, but I didn't/couldn't and neither could a FUCKLOAD of other people who bitched about it online. Not to mention HardOCP's own analysis;

Quote:

=CPU usage with nVidia=

Total CPU usage peaked at 72% total across all four cores of our overclocked Core 2 Extreme QX9770, with an average of 56%. Individually, cores 0 and 3 received the greatest workload, with cores 1 and 2 following close behind. Overall, CPU usage was stable, with no huge peaks or dips in activity while playing the game after the initial loading.

This is the highest average load of our CPU we have seen yet in a game. At 56% that is like having a dual-core CPU fully loaded and then some.

=CPU usage with ATi=

After the loading spike, total CPU usage across all four cores peaked at 82% with an average of 54%. That peak usage is about 10.5% higher than with the GeForce GTX 285, and the average load is about 2% less. Consider a margin however as these results reflect total system usage here.

Individually, the cores were loaded quite a bit differently with the AMD video card than with the NVIDIA video card. Cores 0, 1, and 2 were all loaded just about equally, while core 3 was loaded quite a bit higher than the other three cores. CPU utilization is also a lot spikier with the Radeon HD 4890 than with the GeForce GTX 285. The peaks and valleys of usage are more sharply defined than we saw earlier.

-edit-

Oh and my apologies, this whole thing sounded FAR more snippy than it was meant to be. I <3 Moosenoodles .. I'm just tired of "apparently" being the only one that has to deal with stuff like this Wink

I have no idea about those fucking specs or quadshit or this or that, i said it run better with the filter for AA on box not better cause it had AA on btw Very Happy

your fucking hung over l2r Very Happy

also it works fine I will not tell you a game runs well for me when it dont lol, I have nothing to gain, if I wish to troll you ill do it much better, the game ran like anyother for me, it was more intensive gfx wise it seemed, had alot of models in the scene alot of the time, but generaly no slowdown just had to deal with some shitty mouse acceleration stuff that caused the feel of the game to appear slower than it was..

Either way it dont run well for YOU Very Happy and that isnt my problem is it Razz

p.s how much of your soft penis pleased your misses last night btw Very Happy
